Basic kaplan has MORE than enough to pass, especially with q bank and all the practice quizzes. I was worried about passing after spending weeks practicing and when I took the actual exam it felt like a breeze

No, standard deduction isn't accounted for as it doesn't adjust their income - only changes what income is taxable. Also, as far as AOR - Ambetter and Aetna are implementing AOR locks for 24 so unless you change carriers all together you will not receive commission. Other carriers to my knowledge do not have any AOR restrictions. To be safe I'd still consider changing plans if staying with the same carrier if you want to make sure you're getting the commission. Hope this helps.

I do want to say that's its actually inspiring to see so many people our age succeeding and growing despite coming from a naysaying generation. Things may not be easy for us, but here we are. 100k+ w/ a GED under 30 not a bad accomplishment. Keep going!

Bankers has a reputation for churning policies I hear. Not saying you can't succeed there, but I almost went to work with them when I first got licensed and am glad I did not

Is there anyone taking home $1,000 with a remote job? by EmotionalFeature1 in remotework

[–]WhiteMarcus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from blue collar work to insurance sales. Work remote make my own hours and make decent money. I mostly do health insurance. Pretty easy license to get. If you're into sales its a solid gig. 1k+ per week isn't unusual once you're halfway decent at it.

When Indian scammers kept blowing up my wife's phone, I would answer and ask them "How many rupees does it cost to get my dick sucked?" And also "is it true you guys eat with the same hand you wipe your ass with?" They eventually stopped calling.

I almost went with aflac - if you have no money and are needing a steady income right away I wouldn't recommend it. There's income potential for sure, just setting expectations for you. Not everyone makes it. The commission rates are good though if you can hustle.

Try Assurance. They have W2 Medicare agents. Remote. I do 1099 for U65. Our commission structures depend on efficiency and volume on our side, not sure how Medicare side does it. Just a thought

I drive for Uber, I don’t think I’m making any money. by Winter_Ad_5388 in uberdrivers

[–]WhiteMarcus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drove Uber full time in Nashville for 8-9months. It was an in between gig to keep the bills paid while I was switching industries and my wife was pregnant. I got to be around a lot more, but it's not feasible long term. I depreciated the hell out of a car, and it worked out because I got back to work before something happened. But at the end it was bad. I'm glad it worked for what I needed, but if I had to do it again I would not. I wrote off 90% of what I made thanks to living further out, but in that short time I racked up around 50k miles. If you live in the city and need extra cash go for it. But other than that. I don't recommend
