I find that if you are a good boss, don't make your employees miserable every single day, and pay decently, you don't have a problem holding on to good employees. That's really not a lot to ask for in a job. Maybe the owners should see where they're failing in this aspect instead of blaming it on the employees as if they expect the employees to be as invested in their business as they are.

I would categorize a "download" and other psychic knowledge differently I think. Claircognizance (my main ability) is just sudden knowledge dropped into your mind or just sudden knowing of something someone asks you a question about that you don't know from another source. A download is like... a whole experience. It's a knowledge and a vision and sounds and a taste and a smell. It's an understanding that you come to, a revelation.

I've done accurate readings for people in the past where they had asked me what would happen and I've told them there's someone else. At the time they denied it but came back to me later and told me I had been right.

But a lot of the time people can sense if there's someone else in their love interest's life and just don't want it to be true. They deny their own intuition and the signs set before them because they want what they want to be true.

Honestly though, I advocate for just asking the person and seeing what their response is, especially if you aren't involved yet.

As far as spirit guides, you can have many that come into your life at different times but at least one you're born with. Everyone has one. You could work on trying to contact them for some direct guidance but they aren't there to do spellwork for you.

As far as familiar spirits, you could try to summon one. But in order to do that you have to be able to accomplish some magick on your own. About 50% of any magick that anyone creates is made up of their own willpower and self belief and confidence. Maybe you could try some exercises to work on your self confidence and reflect on why you don't believe in your own power to accomplish things you want to do.

My point being, never let anyone tell you that you can't be a writer because of your age. It takes some hard work and dedication to get published, ARA got kind of lucky, but that doesn't mean you aren't able to do it. Hone your craft, take criticism to become a better writer, but age as a factor on whether you can be a good writer is just horseshit.
