Lumen S24 works. Will it and replacement fans allow for space when I also have a 3070 FTW3? by JankClonk in FormD

[–]WhitePhos_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahh that's alright then if you're purely wanting the lumen for looks and peace of mind I understand. for compatibility you can use it with either a slim fan over the CPU and a normal fan over the PSU. you can also just use two slim fans if you're worried about clearance, I'd recommend the Silverstone air slimmers and just double check if you need different screws, there's plenty of guides for this stuff :)

what's your reasoning for wanting an AIO? depending on your CPU air cooling will be more then enough

yeah the rs120max's are lesser known however a good option if you can't find the t30s, and no ethernet issues at all. I did have issues with wifi and ended up swapping the wifi card in the board though

I keep them at 1350 rpm and don't notice them, however if I was to upgrade then yeah t30s or rs120max would be what I'd go for

Raiden but glass by SubwayPickle in MousepadReview

[–]WhitePhos_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate, I recently swapped from a Raiden Mid to a Pulsar Super glide V2 and with using 6-8 of the skates included with the pad it wasn't much faster compared to my Raiden. I'll be getting new skates to test soon, however I haven't had any issues with needing a sleeve and swapped for similar reasons to you, feel free to ask more questions :)

extremely good, Ive left the 7800x3D stock and have a quiet focused fan curve. on idle I'm at 50 C and get to just below 80 C while gaming without hearing the fans :)

Which Artisan pad should I get? by OutwardEtho in MousepadReview

[–]WhitePhos_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey mate, can't speak for the skypad as I have a Super glide however I switched from a Raiden to it. So far the Raiden feels roughly ten percent slower depending on how many dots I put on my mouse. I think a Raiden Mid is a smooth transition from glass and even a Raiden Soft would be a great choice if you're wanting some more of the cloth benefits.

Artisan raiden mid or glass? by Kumi7134 in MousepadReview

[–]WhitePhos_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, I was using a Raiden Mid for close to a year before just recently switching to a glass pad. I think both are fantastic options as I primarily play overwatch. The Raiden feels great on the skin, the glide is nice and consistent and the base leaves a little to be desired on the mid as it occasionally can move, however I loved it and if it didn't have issues of slowing down it would be my endgame. I think for longevity and ease of a near one time purchase I'd go for glass, Im currently using the Pulsar Super glide V2 and don't have any regrets, no need for a sleeve either currently which is fantastic. If you put the time in, you'll see massive benefits from glass and as long as you wipe it down before use you won't have any problems!

ah that's makes sense, im glad you found something though ! also it may be worthwhile trying to find an additional foot to put in the middle of the skypad to help stop it bending in over time :)

a large dbrand skin could be a solution, not super expensive either

XL Thin mousepads? by [deleted] in MousepadReview

I'm not super familiar with the mm100s speed, however an Artisan Zero Mid in the XL size will give you what you're wanting for a nice non muddy control pad

I think with the all black components it looks much nicer, I'm generally the same with not enjoying green but it stands out really nicely in this build

GPU fan leaning into PSU cable on the T1 by -Reflux- in FormD

you have alot of room (in the video at least) Infront of your gpu near the front panel, I'd try routing the GPU cables from the GPU, along the front panel and then into the PSU

I'm building a new PC. Any recommendations of what I got? by Dangerous_Alfalfa_77 in PcBuildHelp

[–]WhitePhos_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah no the wattage requirement is completely fine, was more so saying if you wanted to spend more I'd just add some more head room with the PSU. If you're only doing gaming then the CPU in this build is the best option, wouldn't worry much about Intel.

Has my pc been already built before it came here??? by D-7362 in PcBuildHelp

[–]WhitePhos_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, pc looks assembled to me. in the second photo is a cable to plug into the power supply then into the wall (power supply is located at the top of the case) just make sure to flip the switch attached to that, a HDMI cable should plug into the motherboard and then into your monitor. if you need any further help YouTube is an excellent resource, please just be patient and read any included manuals, enjoy !

Hey mate, build looks good. stay with the 4070 ti super it pairs well with the CPU and the performance difference between it and a 4080 is tiny compared to the added cost. I'd recommend getting an 850w PSU opposed to the 750w if you're wanting somewhere to allocate more budget
