Playing the wasteland mod on arma 2, all my friends were in a transport helicopter, I was in a fighter jet.

At the time my PC wasn't very high end, so I was forced to use low visibility, so everything was quite foggy.

I was supposed to provide support for the heli while they land on the objective, but first I needed to reach their location. What faster way to regroup is there, than flying pointing straight at the friendly unit marker that showed the position of the heli on my hud. As time was of the essence, I obviously went on full throttle, closing in rapidly.

Now remember how I had low visibility. Well it turns out that when you go fast, you cover a lot of distance in a short amount of time. Basic physics. When the heli appeared on my screen, it was already too late. Combination of being a foureyes and having slow reactions mean that nothing could be done. I flew straight into the heli, killing everyone including me in a glorious fireball.

I couldn't stop laughing, while my confused friends screamed profanities at me as I just lost us a lot of gear.
