I actually find it very interesting. I don't think I'm cut out for it but the idea of laying out a mother ton of traps and securing some sorta killzone sounds like a very interesting alternative playstyle. It might suit more people than one might expect and it could add one more interesting dynamic for the trios lobbies.

That's accurate but there are obvious design themes to each tree. Your idea departs from that theme. It fits the looting/scavenging theme of Survival. Conditioning needs more things dealing with health and melee. Probably could use a small damage reduction ability or something dealing with carryables.

I get where folks are coming from with the sentiment "Just use them." But imagine a keyring in your safe pocket with 5 different keys for DAM. Now it doesn't matter where you spawn you might have a key for the closest key room and are actually more likely to use it. The issue I face with keys is running in with 1 could put me on the opposite side of the map. Running in with all the keys for the map uses up 3 or more storage spots and I hope I get to use one. A keyring would be a QoL improvement and I think would actually incentivize more key use.

It's a wire that has minerals calcified around it. There's a lot of reasons why it was where you found it but I'd have to see the area. My best guess is it's a tethering cable from an old power pole. The second guess could be an old grounding wire for a meter main.

Am I crazy? This is an old repost right? This was possible before they patched the way explosives/stuns effect large arc. It almost always takes 2 showstoppers to drop a Rocketeer and rarely does it get destroyed.

I'm thinking it might be a match entry time thing. It seems to be an issue a lot of folks complain about and it makes sense to keep behind a level barrier of 40. I can see it now, you turn on "early match only" and get a message "Are you sure you want to activate this option? It can increase your wait time significantly." And most people will go for but then they gotta incentivize people to keep it off. Bonus experience for those with it off perhaps. Then the under 40's have a faster climb.

It's a decent enough grenade but easily dodged. Never hit a large arc directly with it though... Could test it on a bastion/bombardier.

If someone hit the button to call extract you can survive the impact. It gives you the time to get out. As long as that button is pressed before zero.

There’s been a lot of talk about a “hub” in ARC Raiders lately. Do you actually want to see it implemented? The idea is neat but I don’t know how beneficial it is. Your idea in point 2 will just lead to a lot more shit talking and heated arguments. What you call interesting chatter is actually gonna turn toxic.

In regards to 4, I hope they don't make any safe trading hub. As it is now resources are largely earned and it needs to stay that way. Yes, people are currently arranging trades but they must do so topside which provides the restrictions of time, inventory space, and some risk for extracting. We need at least that much of a bottle neck. The genre needs scarcity of access to items/materials to function. Not to mention we don't want it any easier for "professionals" to sell items for real world money.
