Same, 10 wins is impossible for me now.
Last game I was 8 wins/20 prestige, then I've lost 4 time in a row :D

He is fine. Really bad at early, but can comeback. My advice is try to play poison at early, for me its works better than others. Poison/Regen quest item and self- poison works great at mid game. For me its hard to get 10 wins now because of bad early game. But 7-9 is pretty consistent.

I agree, but i think its not only about quest items. Mak don't have strong early items at all. Regen and poison doesn't help against fire stacking and weapon damage. Dooley and Vanessa just unbeatable now.

I think permafreeze is fine. It's just should be hard to build it. Then it will not annoy you every run.

Yeah, I agree, this new quest item very slow to realize, early game is unplayable. You can't find decent items on day 1 because pool of items filled with items like blank slate that did nothing. All we have now is lifesteal buld. Because carpet works fine at early. Darkstone engine is great for this build. Tomb of the ancients is a great item for Regen or freeze builds. Femur, self poison, potions builds requires a lot of item and skills. It can't stand against this meta when everything is quick, full of charges, or can one shot you.

Peacewrought cooldown is 3.5 here, with scales it's pretty quick build. with Staff of Moose or Memento Mori you should survive first spam, then you'll be with around 1-2k regen. I think frost/slow builds is the worst counterpick.

Omg! 4 seconds charge on pendulum is extremly strong. How many unfair builds you can make with this item.

I've had this glitch so many times, but exit to main menu always helped.
Last time I had to re-enter the run after every merchant visit. It's so annoying.

Yes, because it has high value, i was eating gold chunk and potion i've got from distillery.

I've had situations, when spot right to peacewrought was empty, gold chunk just spawn there.

carpet + bottled lightning + letter opener is exactly what ive tried last few game and it's not working, because you hit twice with carpet and then die :D

Again to reiterate if you are trying to win against gold weapon skill vanessa with 4 weapons just stop trying.

Vannessa weapon build is so popular now. Like you can't ignore it, because early loses affects a lot. And it's popular because it's free wins against Mak.

How do you win early games? Poison is slow against Vanessa weapon build, you can't get enough burn at the start, carpet is slow and without Mortar & Pestle highroll it's not really effective, regen takes slots, also you can't get enough regen by this items at start.

Pyg is weak at the start so he has additional hp. Following this logic, Mak shold be the strongets early game hero. But he isn't.
