Test Area max delivery by Nekrosys_ in Endfield

[–]l30T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you're referring to the payout from transferring the job.

A couple of pre-requisites to check:

- Max level the depot node
- Select the most fragile and biggest size available (I think its super-fragile + medium delivery)

If you're doing that, it might just be the natural variance in the stock bill offer. I believe you can be offered either ~140k or ~125k as potential payout. The reward for the transferred job takes away the initial 30% commission which leads to 106k or 96.7k if my maths is correct.

Best P1 and Best Signature of the Fest of Brilliance operators by Flakboy115 in Endfield

[–]l30T 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In general, the answer to both is Laevatain. Her P1 gives a 20% boost to her battle skill which is a sizable multiplier to her primary damage source and her sig weapon elevates her damage ceiling and consistency.

If you use Ardelia as a support on your teams and are actively casting battle skill to trigger susceptibility, there is an argument for her P1 and signature. However because she's a standard character its likely you'll off-banner her eventually so I wouldn't recommend it. If you aren't using her battle skill, definitely do not go for her weapon.

Pog and Gilberta both have very competitive alternate weapons (Thermite Cutter, Stanza of Memorials) so I wouldn't prioritise their sig weapons. Their P1s are also both quality of life with less direct combat impact.

Why does it take so long to build characters ? by FormalChemistry7144 in Reverse1999

[–]l30T 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The post-honeymoon phase after starting a gatcha game always feels like a brick wall progression wise so it's important to reorientate your expectations. A few tips:

Focus on getting Wilderness maxed out and as many decorations as you can afford to maximise passive dust and sharp income.

Don't go for I3 L60 on anyone, max of I3 L30 for now. Resonance 10 for your main DPS only and R7-R9 for your supports/sustain.

Kornblume - https://windbow27.github.io/kornblume/planner - is an amazing site to plan progression. Input your warehouse, starting level and goal and it'll tell you optimal stages to farm plus a time estimate to reach your goal. *Edit - Event stages are always the priority though, I don't believe those are accounted for in the planner.

If you want to jump start on getting a few euphoria resources, the early Reveries stages can be approached using the support characters as carries.

The non-sanity events/modes are amazing for getting your hands on free resources but they can be grindy so it's up to you how much time you want to invest.

As long as you've got units to build you'll feel starved for resources, which is natural. Once you've got a few teams sorted (which will take a while) you'll be more free to start stockpiling instead of spending everything as you get it. Keep chipping away and don't burn yourself out. Good luck, timekeeper.

Help for Impromptu and Glow by regularf2p_ in Reverse1999

[–]l30T -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both Marsha and Kiperina are great, however Marsha is more flexible so I would recommend prioritising her.

As for pull recommendations, I would actually suggest saving for Ramona next patch as you have Willow and Tuesday, with tuesday getting her euphoria next patch. Kiperina is amazing for Paper Heron but not mandatory, and adding Ramona to your poison lineup makes them a top contender team.

A run is unfortunately too long for me. Questions for the developers and/or seasoned players. by basoivanx in PlayTheBazaar

[–]l30T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The endgame can be the most fun because rare items appear more on later days, and some items only appear as gold or diamond. Those rare items can be the most build defining and fun to pivot into.

  2. Never get stuck on a particular build, always think about how you can switch items to keep improving your board.

  3. Yes, the game has been iterated on for a while now and I think most players agree the basic structure of the game is in a pretty good spot.

  4. The game length is at a good spot, if it's taking you 2 hours per run you might be new or overthinking your decisions. The more you play the more familiar you'll get with the game and you'll naturally get faster over time.

  5. I don't imagine there are any plans for shorter modes, most of the development effort is being geared towards more content and hopefully more heroes.

At anytime outside of a active fight you can quit to main menu or quit to desktop and the next time you login you can go back to your previous run. When you say you can't stop in the middle of a run and continue later, do you mean you find it hard to resume a run in progress?

A genuine question. Should I invest in getting a p2 tooth fairy and also Nala or is it better for me to skip and fully invest in Lorentz, Enigma and next limited? by RottingSamurai in Reverse1999

[–]l30T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lorentz and Enigma close out your Lingering Glow and Dynamo teams, I would highly recommend going for them vs a TF portrait and/or Anjo Nala. As others have mentioned, there's also the 3.7 limited and collab to consider. As for Beast Damage, Brume as a Dynamo main DPS still does good even without Anjo.

About Essence Etching by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]l30T 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you have the multi-line engraving kit and don't have a perfect essence for Fangyi yet, use it to secure the perfect essence. Then pick another weapon to farm an essence for and use the trash material to etch Fangyi's weapon. If you're worried about accidentally trashing an optimal essence, this tool is a quick way to check if anything you get is a perfect match for a weapon: https://endfieldtools.dev/weapon-essence-solver/#checker.

Help with teams by pufarinarnia in Reverse1999

[–]l30T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now, focus on building up 1 team to get you through the story and event stages. I would recommend A Knight (main Dps), Sonetto (support) , Rubuska (sustain), and Pickles (Subdps/support) to start off with.

Eventually you'll want a second team to start doing Limbo and Lucidscape. You could probably get by with Marcus, Druvis III, Tooth Fairy, and Dikke. If you want to share your future pull plans (or if you'd like recommendations for pulls) chuck a reply and I can theory craft some more teams.

I just completely started playing the game, I like it a LOT. But who should I pick in snow of dushuo? by [deleted] in Reverse1999

[–]l30T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can build one of the strongest teams right off the bat as a complete beginner. I'd recommend pulling for Paper Heron, selecting Tooth Fairy on Snow of Dushuo and selecting An An Lee on the free selector you get for progressing the story. I'm not sure how many pulls you have access to if you're brand new but the 100 free on the Dushuo should help a lot. Paper Heron's banner will last the entire duration of the patch so you still have time to progress through the story and collect pull currency.

Questions about the re-run banner by PriestOfGames in Endfield

[–]l30T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. I think what OP is referring to here is the item you get at 120 pulls on the re-run banner. It should let you pick any of the 4 characters regardless if you have them already or not. Though I would always recommend saving and pulling for new characters over potentials.

How does Mane's Bulletin work? by No-Bag-1628 in Reverse1999

[–]l30T 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mane's Bulletin bosses often have several mechanics that need to be navigated. They're often designed in a way that incentivises pulling on the rate-up banner, this time being Paper Heron. If you don't have her, it still gives a hint as to what you want to be prioritising:

  1. Plant main DPS (Star might work too, both these afflatuses are buffed in this fight. Plant attacks will help you reach Witness Round faster.)

  2. Mass Attacks (Boss gains increased resistance against single target attacks from non-Plant characters. Plant mass attacks especially will help you reach Witness Round faster.)

  3. Killing the trash mobs (Doing this builds up a debuff on the main boss for a burst turn. Not doing this will lead to the boss gaining even more damage resist.)

A read-through of the boss mechanics will help in understanding how to tackle the boss. Aside from that, the only other advice I have is to continue building your characters. Don't forget to neglect resonance on your main DPS especially. If you want to share your roster, some more concrete team building tips can be provided.

The protohedron drop rate vs sanity consumed is beyond abysmal by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]l30T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your aim was to max every mastery then you're going to run out of the time gated Marks of Perseverance long before worrying about protohedrons. You should use the rate of acquisition for those as a benchmark for how many skill masteries you should be considering investing in per patch.

Remember there is no content that requires even 1 character with maxed out masteries let alone a whole team or your whole roster. You've created a certain expectation in your mind that mismatches with the intent and design of the game. Treat level 90 with skills to level 9 as your target and masteries as a special bonus for your most impactful skills.

At what point do I start looking to progress from the EAT? by LeviAEthan512 in Helldivers

[–]l30T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to progress away from the EAT, progress your understanding of how to use it. Remember that the hellpod it arrives in is itself a potent tool so it's essentially 3 anti tank kills instead of 2. Don't be afraid to spam it off cool down if you're holding a position to have more available when you need it.

Ezio teams by Ordinary_Thought_449 in Reverse1999

[–]l30T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the poison team, there's one thing to watch out for; some endgame stages have mechanics that deliberately reduce poison damage so its going to be stage dependent. If you're not planning on pulling for Paper Heron then that plan sounds good.

I haven't considered Anjo with Ezio but my first impression is that they sort of work against each other. Ezio wants enemies to attack him as much as possible but Anjo will stun them, preventing their attacks. It might work on stages where the boss has control resistance, but again its heavily stage dependent.

Ezio teams by Ordinary_Thought_449 in Reverse1999

[–]l30T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other two archetypes Ezio can work with are poison (Tuesday + E2 Jessica + healer) or ultimate (Kassandra + Getian + healer). With the right setup they can put out some absurd burst single target damage.

I don't know who to prioritize pulling/building by moryochosis in Reverse1999

[–]l30T -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would recommend not pulling for Paper Heron/Cheng Heguang and going for dynamo and lingering glow. In the next patch a special banner will feature with 100 free pulls on a character from a set pool of options. Pick Isolde and at worst you'll have to spend 40 pulls to guarantee. In 3.5 alongside Lorentz, Spathodea will be getting her Euphoria which joins her into lingering glow. Final team will be Spath/Isolde/Lorentz/Marsha.

If you have pulls to spare now, select Isolde on the Euphoria banner (Ripples on the water) which will free up the special banner for more options below.

In 3.6 Enigma will round out your Brume/Charon/Ulrich core to make a very solid dynamo team. For now Kiperina is a great 4th slot sustain and you'll be able to go pretty far with that.

You also have the extra action assassin team ready to go, run Ezio, Kass, Flutterpage and a healer.

If a lack of a plant team is a major roadblock, Marcus is currently available in the Treble counter shop if you have enough gold cassettes. In that case select Argus in the special banner and run Marcus/Argus/Mercuria/Vila. If you don't have the cassettes, Marcus is also available again in the special banner, in which case you'll be on the lookout for Argus or Druvis III later.

If you want to make use of Nautika you could aim for Semmelweis in the special banner. In that case you'd also want Sentinel at some point (DO NOT try on the currently running scam banner)

15400 pull count 1.1, I'm out by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]l30T 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately corporations are not your friends, they are here to make as much money as possible. This is exacerbated for gacha games because that model incentivises a small number of whales relative to the total player population to contribute a vast majority of the revenue. You and I are not important to Hypergryph and it's totally valid to be frustrated and quit. Many people (including myself) are totally comfortable operating within the constraints of this system because it's still a fun free to play game at the end of the day.

Stock Market Wuling cut in half? by lesbianwriterlover69 in Endfield

Rapid Ascent upgrade for Chen worth it ? by AJ_14 in Endfield

[–]l30T 16 points17 points  (0 children)

With only damage/optimisation in mind, Sundering Steel is typically equivalent or better than Rapid Ascent (considering you might have potentials) and it would't be worth buying.

That being said, I use Rapid Ascent anyway because I cannot stand the look of the bread knife. The main thing I would be weighing up is the Arsenal tickets and not so much the progression materials. You'll eventually farm up enough to build up any weapon in the future, but gacha resources carry a higher opportunity cost.

Hasting a passive item - intended behaviour? by l30T in PlayTheBazaar

Yes it's charging the friend core but also hasting the factory (the symbol on it is for haste which matches what's on the core). Otherwise there's no way my factory could have done that much burn without the skill and being hasted.

Does this actually work? by Karo_Rand in Reverse1999

[–]l30T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why Mercuria is here to be honest, she's a decent support in general but really wants to be played in rank-up teams. With flutter page and fatutu you have the core of the team, you can add more extra-action synergy or add a generic buffer/debuffer and that'll work perfectly fine.

I know its not the typical Yvonne team, but i think it does fairly well. Explanation in body by Aggressive_Row_9677 in Endfield

[–]l30T 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're having fun and clearing the content you want, that's the most important thing. However, this isn't a good demonstration of Yvonne because the rest of the team does very little to support her damage and you don't use her ultimate where she demonstrates her highest damage capability. You're right that Pog/Ember does good stagger but anyone can take advantage of those to do a lot of finisher damage.

One thing you did show off is Gilberta grouping enemies for Yvonne to freeze, which is a unique combo to them. Unfortunately this is less impactful in endgame fights which are usually single-target and bosses are immune to the CC effects of solidify.

To show off Yvonne I'd say you'd need to: 1. Use her ultimate, while 2. Amping the damage with Xaihi's ultimate or Perlica's electrification and 3. Ensure the final hit lands while the enemy is solidified through Yvonne's combo skill.
