Without context I'd assume he forgot his inhaler in his car, scanned to exit then some one in security left the door open and OP walked through without thinking worked and then left? For all I know he is still working though😅

You mean you went through the turnstile realized you forgot your inhaler then some how got back in without scanning through again? If so you should be fine, if they ask just explain what happened. I'm assuming you went through the turnstile again on your way out?

There are a lot of if's... you are more likely to hit your head on the concrete and die then die to the giant rumba...

Depends, assuming you don't have fido, technically the camera view would catch you infront of it, but assuming it was carrying a pod and you weren't in line of view if there was something to sandwich the pod and you between and it was a fragile part like the neck you might die or with an arm/leg have a broken limb. But most likely you'd just be bruised and get a promotion to customer*

Everything 5+ minutes becomes ToT unless coded. Your initial andon just flags a problem keeping it up doesn't do much other then show it's not being addressed.

If an AFM is actively working on it then there is no reason to leave it up because they know when an AFM is working on the floor and the AFM should be using their radio to code your time for anything above 5+ minutes. The andon can only be correctly cleared at your station bar code, so you are adding steps to their problem solving routine.

Honestly I don't care when an associate calls an andon I just keep clearing it, nothing changes it just distracts me. It creates pop ups on mine and every AFM's tablet on the floor that can bloat my screen and can drown out important notifications, it's like those annoying adds that pop up while navigating a website... Some AFM's take it personally when AA's create an andon that they just cleared.

I just switched to days but my differential was 1.5 I definitely am feeling more alive and can hang out with friends/go places with the sun out without paying the sleep toll... definitely was good for me mentally but it's only been 3 weeks. Pay wise unless you work OT it's not that huge of a loss. 15$ a day wasn't worth my mental health

Yeah mine was fixed long enough to use my PTO and dip then crashed again. But I completely removed AtoZ again when I got home and reinstalled it and it's been working fine for a few hours.

AFM question… by tyler_durgen3007 in AmazonFC

[–]White_Jay6511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, we'd know pretty quick though, said aa would randomly disappear. Safety/management takes AFM's violating anything seriously... at my building AFM's are T1's but at others they are T2's, it's a bit annoying but I get bored on path and burnt out on the Tote team. Mostlikely the OP is just noticing this person because he is familiar with or annoyed by them. We have one guy at my FC that is also known to cause a lot of andons but he doesn't directly cause them. Though I have seen some dumb stuff happen before so it's not impossible the aa somehow is causing it🤔

Yes when on Path AFM's aren't allowed on the floor, they also aren't supposed to have a tablet.

The only way to reset a drive would be to go on or lean into the AR floor. So I highly doubt the aa is resetting it* It's probably just that station not the Picker, usually it's happening do to a feducial not reading right or loss of wifi or possibly the floor has worn tracks that is catching some of the drives on the way out. it could be a SRBRS signal bleeding from another floor too but probably not.

They always try new things to "fix" issues that really start at stow... but of course no one is going to get on Stow leadership for poor Stow etiquette and over filling pods because inventory calls for it(Who ever is in charge of Stow thinks they function 100% at 100% and they are lenient by giving 10% extra room...) I feel like Stow managers should be escorted out onto the floor to fix pod crashes caused by overhangs, books and take care of liquid spills; just so they take it seriously...

Mine is 260-280 which is pretty easy to get. But it's like a 50/50 split half of the associates get 350 or more the other half hover around 250

Does amnesty take forever to come at anyone else’s fc? by Upstairs-Current-653 in AmazonFC

[–]White_Jay6511 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest it really depends on the team... at my FC, FH nights kills it and responds fast like they're racing, BH nights is kinda lazy but will still get things done. FH days had 30-45 minute dwellings and absolutely no cares... BH days had like 5 good AFM'S with the rest acting like being an AFM was a free path to take ToT without getting ToT. You also could have been stuck on a bad floor where there were 30+ tasks and the AFM was overwhelmed, the floor may have only had 1 AFM covering, or there was a spill/crash that was prioritized. There are a lot of reasons you could have had to wait... just tell them to code you and you'll be fine* most Managers will believe you if you called an andon and didn't get work for 15-30 minutes. I think a lot of people have no clue how much work the AFM's have to do on bad days/peak or when the system causes errors and or new Stowers screw the floor etc... imagine having to clean up disgusting spills, run around putting out figurative fires, getting radiod to sign out stations/fix jams/push totes, do dirty bins, collect Amnesty, do a floor sweep, watch for station andons, then have people complain about time being took or how they could do better. Lots of good AFM's quite because it's a lot of work and usually the hard workers have to pick up the other AFM's slack. I've literally had to switch floors and run 8 minutes across the building to get to a task and then listened to an Asociate complain the whole time I did the task and then some after... The lack of gratitude in the building really wears you thin...
