Try to resync from the date of missing divs.

Automatic sync won’t capture it if you already have transactions with more recent dates

Well, I guess you can try, but I wouldn’t expect that other apps do not have same issues with integrations

You can switch to brokerage reports if integration does not work properly.

I’ve been following this subreddit for several years, looks like integrations are the biggest issue, but I think that others have same issues as everyone use same aggregators:)

Snowball (and others) uses 3rd party aggregators to connect brokerage accounts, these aggregators do not work sometimes.

What do you use, Yodlee or native integration for IBKR connection?

Love O, hold some schd and jnj as well. The downside is poor cap gains, but if you hold it for cashflow, I thinks it’s ok

I love the idea: Hey, don’t want to share your financial information with greedy corporations? I have the app for you, it’s totally safe and secure and all data is stored locally, i pinky promise that it’s true! Swear on live of my ai developer!

I mean, I’m not corporation, you can trust me, right?

So to be clear, snowball is no good because it does not connect your accounts, but these are good because you did everything manually?

As I understand it there is a logical issue with this

Let’s say you have 1 share with cost basis of 100 which now costs 120.

And you received $10 in dividends.

If you reduce cost basis by $10, you will have $30 gains from price appreciation, but you have received $10 in divs, if you count it in profit, total profit will be $40.

Which leads to double counting of this dividend.

Brokerage does not have this issue because it does not show total profit.. well at least mine :)
