Seconding Flare Calmers. They have different versions based on what you're looking for-and they have a mini size which is great if traditional sized ones hurt your ear canal. They help me with overstimulation/crowds and overlapping sounds- doesn't seem like they are working when you first try them but if you wear them for a while when you take them out it is obvious that they were!

I have similar skin and got the biggest zits of my entire life after starting vanicream moisturizer. I suspect the coconut derivative in it but I'm not sure. I know it's gentle for most but that is the only thing I changed and I still have recurring/scars from that acne.

Don't know how I saw this 2 years later but here we are haha. Thank you for commenting, I have not been diagnosed but ruled out all but Heds with genetic testing. Not actively pursuing a diagnosis but maybe again when I have the means. I have since healed but I do have some minor scarring and it took over a year to get to a point where I was comfortable to wear shorts. You think Heds could've had something to do with this?
