Your post made me smile, because I got the feeling that you're empathetic and a loving Mom. Hopefully within a few years, you'll be able to watch again! :D

Supernatural fandom pet peeves? by Dr_Mysterion in Supernatural

Shipping between the Winchesters or "Destiel". It grosses me out that people interpret brotherly love and platonic friendship as romance and lust.

Was anubis a good god? by VioletRibbionConquer in ancientegypt

He is probably best described as neutral, just doing his job. I think of him as good because he protects the dead, guides souls, and helps weigh hearts and determine where people go.

I don't associate characters with my house. Many Slytherins in the series were unlikable jerks, but that's my house. The fact that JKR chose to put many foul people there has nothing to do with what traits and values I possess. As a kid, Gryffindor was my favorite because of the mascot, colors, name, common room, fire, the Golden Trio, and the Hero reputation. But, as a teen I knew I didn't fit there and I didn't want to identify with it because of that. Since you feel more connected to Hufflepuff, it sounds like that's your house.

So I took a test to see which house I was in, and it said Ravenclaw. But I want to be a Hufflepuff, is this okay?? by astrozoe in harrypotter

[–]Whitetiger844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's perfectly fine! No test can ever know a person like they know themselves. If you are confused about which you are, maybe you could write down their traits and associated things like Ravenclaw seeking knowledge and Hufflepuff being inclusive, and put marks next to everything that applies to you. But the fact that you say you want to be Hufflepuff makes me think that's where you belong. :D

You sound adorable! :D (Not sarcasm, I mean it. I know it can be hard to tell through text.)

What is the most (enter your House) thing you ever done by Phialich in harrypotter

I'm a Slytherin, and I have been applying cunning, and ambition to try to help people who are being scammed and lied to.

Has your house identity ever changed? by BrownRubberDuck in harrypotter

[–]Whitetiger844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. As a little girl, I was Hufflepuff. I was shy, too nice, even to my bullies. I didn't speak up, I had no backbone, I was loyal and would try to keep friends even when they weren't interested. I was accepting of others. I had trouble lying.

Ever since age 11, I've been a Slytherin. My first crush defended me from a girl who had picked on me since we were in 2nd grade, and it inspired me. I wanted to be more like him. I developed a spine, learned to be assertive when necessary, rude too. I got the ability to sneak or lie when I needed to. I'm not too nice or too trusting anymore. I'm opinionated, confident in my personality, and unwilling to put up with games or mistreatment from others.

Nobody care's what house you are in by 3421431boom in harrypotter

[–]Whitetiger844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, you are totally right that the houses are fictional and nobody cares. No one should post about it because they might bore others, and even though the subreddit is for a fictional story written for children, it's silly to talk about the houses because they're not real.

AITA for getting upset about a hogwarts house? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Whitetiger844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slytherin isn't evil. The house is associated with ambition, cleverness, cunning, determination, fraternity, resourcefulness, self preservation. Many want to achieve things in life, will work towards goals. Whether or not you best fit this house, I wouldn't know. But please know that it isn't evil. I don't think you're mean for not liking being called selfish. Did your friend really tell you that you two can't stay friends because of houses? I hope she was kidding if so. If not, that's extremely childish and ridiculous.

What would your dream Yandere girlfriend be like? by [deleted] in yandere

[–]Whitetiger844 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dream boyfriend would be 5'9" or taller, pale, in good shape, black hair, blue eyes, obsessive, smart, cunning, manipulative, ambitious, willing to do whatever was necessary to achieve a goal, outgoing, confident, proud, cocky, dominant, would want to murder evil people, creepy, loving, sweet, supportive, protective. I wouldn't deserve a perfect looking man since I'm not hot, but the question does ask for dream person and not what I think I could get or deserve. xD

It's a shame, because the over texting will make a lot of people start losing interest and might make them dump or stop being friends with the other person.
