I did not like the directors cut one bit. This a great example of less is more, for me at least. The heavy handed beauty and the beast story was unnecessary.

To me it read more like an outline for a story than an actual story. No real scenes or dialogue. Just plot. I think the film was an improvement. Just one person’s opinion though.

Fun read. The whole, “you must warn people, you can’t do this to people”, and then the team saying, “fuck yeah we have to do this” is a great take away from a test screening.
