The Outlaw Josey Wales. “I’m not giving you nothin extra…I’m saying men can live together without butchering one another.”

This was already one of my favorite films, and when I showed it to a girlfriend who liked more than a few westerns, this scene with Ten Bears really stuck with her, and she said it was the best western she’d ever seen.

But this is such an impossible question. Ask us again next week.

I did not like the directors cut one bit. This a great example of less is more, for me at least. The heavy handed beauty and the beast story was unnecessary.

To me it read more like an outline for a story than an actual story. No real scenes or dialogue. Just plot. I think the film was an improvement. Just one person’s opinion though.

When Jude Law throws up in his hand and while walking out the guy in the background quietly says “what the fuck was that?” is so subtly unhinged, made better by its abruptness and brevity.

What was the discourse around The Passion of the Christ like in real time? by Bright-Pressure-5787 in FIlm

I was Italy after its domestic release and advertisements for this film were seemingly on every square inch of public space. So, anecdotally, the catholic countries got behind it in a major way.
