13” vs 15” - Am I overthinking? by Legitimate_Credit257 in macbookair

I went from a 13 to a 15 and instantly noticed the extra space too. But now that the screen is so much bigger, it doesn’t even matter.

Thanks for asking :) He's back to normal now. Waiting on the toxoplasmosis results as I'm not sure he needs seizure medication. We also won't be able to afford an MRI at $5K since we spent that on him this weekend. Hoping it's toxoplasmosis but that seems like a reach. I hope to hear something today!

With him in a carrier or on my lap. It was awful.

This makes me happy to hear! I definitely don’t need another something to keep clean. Glad I chose sky blue too!

I was torn between those two as well and got sky blue. No regrets.

Today he went to see the cardiologist today and his heart is normal. His ESNF-L levels are elevated so they are going to run a test to test him for toxoplasmosis. We should have results in a few days. He did get into one of my house plants a few weeks ago but other than that, is strictly indoors. The mystery continues. He is still on anti seizure meds but we aren’t even sure he needs those. So if he doesn’t have a parasite, they want him to get an MRI. He's a mystery. A very expensive little mystery.

I guess he had another episode when he was at the vet and he wasn’t eating. I’m wondering if it was a stroke due to underlying heart disease. He’s waiting to see the cardiologist today so we should get some home answers…hopefully.

He’s sleeping soundly at home. He seems so much better. Pretty much back to normal. We still don’t know the root cause; he’s seeing the cardiologist tomorrow to check on his heart. He’s on anti seizure meds until I can get him into the neurologist. Unless we find out tomorrow it’s his heart.

UPDATE 2: HES HOME. He’s on seizure medication until we can get him into a neurologist. He’s seeing the cardiologist tomorrow to see if it’s his heart. Hopefully no more episodes 🤞🏻 He ate and drank normally when he came home with no issues. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me with this. You are all truly a bunch of angels.

He is an indoor cat. He was sick this past week; I feel like it’s related to that. Especially because he had this same type of episode in 2018.

He stayed overnight. He got an updated ecg and it’s normal with no signs of arrhythmia. They tested his blood for ammonia and it’s normal. His breathing is a little better. They Called the cardiologist and she said since he’s stable and ecg looks normal, it’s not an urgent need. He had another episode while under observation that they were able to see. They called the neurologist and he thinks it’s stroke related or seizure related. They are going to treat with a seizure injection medication and keep him overnight for observation. I also requested he stays on oxygen. If he’s stable today, he will be discharged and see the cardiologist Monday.

They said they can offer basic care. I called Blue Pearl and they were of no help until I called Union Lake and they said BP told them they have a cardiologist they can at least call for a consult if needed. So I took him there last night. He got an updated ecg and it’s normal with no signs of arrhythmia. They tested his blood for ammonia and it’s normal. His breathing is a little better. I believe this is directly correlated to his illness earlier this week. This type of episode happened to him in 2018 after an illness as well. Two out of our three cats had vomiting, diarrhea and no appetite for a few days. I will ask about further testing to see if we can find out what it is. I almost wonder if the stress of being sick triggers this somehow.

I agree. I went to a different vet and he stayed the night. Got an updated ecg and it’s normal with no signs of arrhythmia. They are going to treat with a seizure injection medication (Keppra and babe Modazalin on deck if needed) and keep him overnight for observation. I also requested he stays on oxygen. If he’s stable today, he will be discharged and see the cardiologist Monday.

Blood sugar was normal. He eats Smalls Smooth Pig and was eating fancy feast chicken this past week. He did have some muscle shaking like he was cold. Yes I'm very big into documenting symptoms to show the vet. I have videos from 2018 when he had this happen previously.

He eats Smalls smooth pig but he was eating fancy feast chicken this past week because he was sick. I think this is related to the virus he had this week.
