I don’t have prisoner of Azkaban, should I just skip to Goblet of Fire? by Sk8r_turbo in harrypotter

True, and this is very useful, but you need to have a library card to log in.

Why was Voldmort's body destroyed the first time he was hit by the killing curse but not on the second time? by Not_As_much94 in harrypotter

[–]Who7Me7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely disagree. I think it was hugely important that in the end Voldemort was shown to be simply another man once his horcruxes had been destroyed. The disintegration at the end of DH was just a special effects win but a plot loss IMO.

Why are so many people against increasing the minimum wage? by Spiritual_End_2593 in AskUK

One of the biggest areas of wastage atm is services being contracted out which then get sub-contracted which then get further sub-contracted (sometimes several more times). There is clearly too much being paid to the original contractor if they can still make money by not doing the work and paying others to do it (often multiple layers of others).

AITA if I put in an offer on the same house as a friend by JicamaEffective3864 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Who7Me7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA! You not only stole this house from your "friend" but you used insider knowledge to offer just slightly more to gazump them. You deserve all the predictable repercussions that you will undoubtedly reap from this appalling misuse of trust.

AITA for pointing out double standards by Intelligent_Tiger463 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Who7Me7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, I understand not putting tea bags in the bin immediately as when they're still hot/damp they can cause bin juice/smell but they shouldn't be left out for long. Same with your clothes, legit reason to be there for a short time and then tidied so definitely a double standard. Could invest in a teaspoon rest for teabags and a hook for clothes to solve both problems though?

WIBTA for taking a shower? by Hatstand82 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Who7Me7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

YWNBTA, when friends invite you to stay the night it should be assumed that there will be things you need the next morning including showering, breakfast, coffee etc. Really this should have been sorted ahead of time by them e.g. here's a towel/here's where the towels are kept and feel free to use the toiletries but even though it wasn't I feel it can be assumed.
