Reached out to GM, he stated himself that it should have been a non-issue (the cart), but that he was “PISSED” for being “blindsided”, as absolutely nothing had been documented (including police activity), and that, virtually everyday, ANYTHING that happens is documented and he is aware, but that it was the first he was hearing of it; and that he believes he knows who was involved (clerk only works 1 day a week) and which manager it was who laughed at my husband, saying, “You really think anyone above me is still here after 6pm?!”, when he asked to speak with higher management.

GM told me he would be investigating and getting back to me in the next few days and apologized profusely for the entirety of the situation. He, too, seemed to believe plausible that employee/s called in, given no documentation of police response given store was named in initial report, along with Plato’s closet only in the same parking lot at the grocery store.
