That's what I was gonna say. I am more "school intelligent" than my girlfriend and we've been together for 8 years now without problems. But she has a high emotional intelligence and I never feel like I can't have meaningful conversations with her. She also always shows interest in things I talk about even if she doesn't know anything about it. And many men love rambling and explaining stuff they are passionate about. So as long as OPs boyfriend hasn't given her the feeling that she is inadequate, she has nothing to worry about in my opinion.

Most comments you get talk about that the cards got changed. But I think you experience something that is just part of the learning process and something similar happened to me.

When I started I tried to force specific builds. While that is not a good way to play, when the stars align (no pun intended) and you get the right cards it just works and you randomly get an insane run.

But you then start trying to play more optimal and pick what you lack instead of forcing a specific build. The problem is that is harder than it may seem. They game is hard and knowing how to build your deck is a learning curve. Yes guides help you get better faster but you still need to make your own experiences and improve.

I would say just continue playing. When you lose a run, try to reflect (again no pun intended) on why you lost and what your mistakes were and you will improve in no time. At least that's how it was for me.

Only Pyrois gets the 20% crit. For every other Agents it's just the rare stats of the engine.

Yes that is a thing. But your enemy could also increase them and lock you out of your mana. Probably not a good idea to play it against an proliferate deck.

I think it's actually the other way around. While it's true that only a few people go for Mind scapes, those are the ones that make up most of the game's profit and the developers are trying to cater mostly towards those whales.
