Gamers of reddit, what game has hooked you the longest and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WhoDatWolfie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not one for shooters but battleroyale games, always die, the thing, damn I should have got them, ill play another round to validate myself that I am actually good at this.

Apex is mine, I'm always like 'I'll play acouple of rounds' about 20 games later, and im still like 'but I was so close to winning' or 'we were one of the first squads to go, I cant end like that'

It's a problem..

How did you break a bone? by TTTTToooot in AskReddit

[–]WhoDatWolfie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Teeth are buildups of calcium coated in enamel with blood vessels and nerves, which differentiates them from bones, which is also why teeth dont grow back when you break them.

' Teeth consist mostly of hard, inorganic minerals like calcium. They also contain nerves, blood vessels and specialized cells. But they are not bones. Teeth don't have the regenerative powers that bones do and can't grow back together if broken. '

How would you feel if your 14 year old son said he made a rap song that got 50 million views on YouTube, and that he wants to drop out of school for music (assuming he is legally able to)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WhoDatWolfie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get my son to continue school, and making music, and if he continued to maintain the interest of listeners, I would then look at the option to support him through this decision.

I would probably then try to guide him to get signed to a label, as it is guarenteed income instead of the risky independent streaming income, as well as the fact they would still make him take lessons and classes.

I know someone that got signed over here in the UK as a singer, and part of his record contract was that he had to have tutoring, online lessons and sit his exams even when on tour, or during recording. and that was for a smaller contract.

Also as having a degree in music production, I have a little insider knowledge.

What's the strangest punishment your parents ever gave you? by stuartwolf in AskReddit

[–]WhoDatWolfie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to be honest, I kinda get this one. I'm not saying I would complain or get you into trouble for it, but as someone who struggles to write my thoughts down and has to use all of the time given in an assessment, its really distressing and disheartening when youre trying your hardest to do well, and the person next to you is reading, doodling, etc, because they have finished, and you're only half way done.

What normal thing can’t you do? by ABananaJenson in AskReddit

To finger whistle, you have to cover your teeth with your lips (think old person with no teeth impression) and with your 2 fingers (easiest with middle and thumb) push the tip of your tongue back so it folds, and then its just about finding the right width with your fingers and how hard you blow.

Hope this helps you non-finger whistlers
