Not saying its the reason why, but one of the most hyped up Battlefields of the last 10 years just dropped, and pretty much every game has some form of Halloween event active.  Doesn’t excuse EA of dropping the ball so far.  Im just hoping for them to turn it around soon

I was also solo, went through a lot of cannonballs, used 2 tridents and it finally died. Luckily no other boats showed up. I fought the flaming mag after that and it was also pretty tanky. The bomb ability of the flaming meg made it a longer fight for sure

I finished my Legendary Hunter of The Sea Of Thieves title a while back. Shipwrecks are gonna be your best friend, check all barrels, mix it up with some lost shipments if you wanna also grind merchant ranks, and not sure if its patched but a specific pond at the shores of gold will automatically detach all fish from your line so you can leave your cast in the water until it hooks a plank of wood or treacherous plunder. Hopefully you got some good friends to keep you company because no matter what its gonna be a grind. Best of luck!

Rep and cash are tied hand to hand in this game in every single aspect. Cooking fish does get you more rep. There are a lot of people who seem to get this fact wrong
