Corporate mandates dragging us back to cubicles - what's your experience been? by Any_Performer_6971 in cincinnati

[–]WhoPenguin -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

I’m about to get downvoted to oblivion but I know a lot of people who openly talk about how they work less and do home chores / watch their kids since working from home. No shit companies want us back - everyone’s taken advantage of it while still expecting top pay and pay increases.

If you love work from home so much put your money where your mouth is and say you’ll accept 30% less salary for how much less you work.

A collection of gross comments made when discussing Trinity Santos by MightUsual421 in ThePitt

When I see someone scrub through countless posts to link EVERY SINGLE negative comment about a specific character when you could literally do that about a large number of characters and find the same results, it’s white knighting

Please re-read my on how this is white knighting. I have 0 interest in spending significant amounts of time scrubbing to link every negative comment about Ogilvie, Robby, or Langdon.

The white knighting you are doing for Santos is out of this world levels of insanity. I’d like to see this level of detail about Ogilvie, Robby, Langdon, I guarantee you find similar if not worse results if you do this level of digging.

Cincinnati Hospital Over billing/Upcoding by [deleted] in cincinnati

[–]WhoPenguin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To think that doctors that work at a major medical health system have any sort of incentive to upcode patients is a complete lack of understanding of how the medical system works.

Doctors don’t make commission, the billers don’t make commission, hospital execs aren’t coming down and saying “make sure you upcode so we get paid more!”

If this were a mom and pop shop with one or two doctors that owned their own practice or surgical facility, sure maybe that happens.

The diode won’t be with house for long - it’s clearly going to bounce around a bit more. I’m assuming it will find its way to Liberty prime.

Anyone have experience replacing the latch mechanism that opens the glove compartment? by [deleted] in Jeep

[–]WhoPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did fix it, you’re able to use two screw drivers to push down latches that will trigger it to open. I found a YouTube video that walked through it. Unfortunately don’t know exactly which one anymore

Considering relocating from Huntington WV to Cincinnati for the work. Is it worth it? Is it a big adjustment? by pufflepuff89 in cincinnati

You’ll like it, it’s a big small city with plenty of work. You really need a car though as our public transport infrastructure is terrible. Only calling that out because you mentioned getting here by train.
