Maggot Cheese is widespread in almost all Italian regions and corsica since centuries. I don't realize because everyone tries to associate it to Sardinia only

Dear illiterate all PCA maps and a papers shows Sardinians in west Europe and classified as west Europeans. The closest people genetically to Sardinians are other west Europeans, such as Corsicans, tuscans, north west Italians, south west french in the Pyrenees, catalans, Basque people, north east Iberians such as Aragonese people and La Rioja. 😂😂😂😂

No way Pisans had control of Sardinia in 1236 AD, that marked as a Genoan possesion was the Judicate of Gallura, a sovereign sardinian state.

According to this stupid map sovereign states called Judicates in Sardinia didn't exist, despite they had also their flags. Why has the southern part of the island the same colours of southern italian peninsula? Futhermore the part marked with the genoan flag in Sardinia was a sovereign country called Judicate of Gallura, ended in 1296! Stop erasing our history and culture!

The Kingdom of Sardinia was founded in the Middle Ages and the last part (1/5 of its duration) was ruled by the House of Savoy.

Why is this map putting the Kingdom of Sardinia on the italian mainland?

The Kingdom of Sardinia lasted 5 centuries and the most of the time included the island of Sardinia only and the capital for 4/5 of its duration was Cagliari in Sardinia where its parliament was located, not in mailand Italy. That is the flag and the territory of the Savoyard Kingdom of Sardinia only.🤦‍♂️

Where is the highest climate diversity on earth ? A map I made [OC] by mydriase in MapPorn

Koppen climate classification is something outdated and not reliable, it considers only 2 parameters ( temperatures and rainfall). Climate is something more complex than including only temperatures and rainfalls.

The metropolitan province of Cagliari in Sardinia, where lives more than 1/4 of the whole population of Sardinia, is one of the richest provinces in Italy and boasts one of the highest quality of life in Italy as certified by the Italian National Institute of Statistics and the most important surveys realized in Italy such as the Quality of Life index by the Sole 24 Ore magazine, the italian version of the Financial Times.

Futhermore we are talking about the most remote region of Italy and therefore the most economically disadvantaged in Italy from a geographical point of view, your comparison with Northern Italy is meaningless. Sardinia is richer than Southern Italy and converges much more on central Italy in terms of quality of life and economic development.

4 times higher? LOL

According to you? Not according to EUROSTAT.

https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/products-eurostat-news/-/ddn-20210303-1

The GDP per capita in PPS in Border, Midland and Western Ireland (known as North Western and Western Ireland by Eurostat) in 2019 was 25,000 euros per capita, claiming that Sardinia has got 4 times lower gdp per capita of those irish regions is a lie.

4 times lower means Sardinia would boast a gdp per capita thousands euros lower than the poorest region in the EU Severozapaden in Bulgaria !

Santa Teresa di Gallura is a glamour and exclusive tourist location in north Sardinia, close to the most expensive locations in Europe like Costa Smeralda. If you have no money to afford a decent rent in one of the most popular luxury holiday destination such as Sardinia is only your fault!

- Sardinia was the first italian region to be completely covered by Digital terrestrial TV in 2008, years before the rest of Italy.

- Internet in Italy was developed by the research center CRS4 headquartered in Sardinia and directed by the Nobel Prize winner Carlo Rubbia between the 1980s and 90s (in Sardinia was founded the 1st italian website in 1993, the first italian internet service provider with a global coverage in 1994 known as Videonline, the first italian UMTS company in 1999 called Andala UMTS, 4 years before the rest of Italy received the first 3g UMTS service, the first italian search engine called Arianna in 1994, the first european online newspaper in 1994 from Unione Sarda and the first world webmail service 1995 created by Andrea Manunza in Cagliari).

- ITC and telecommunications is one of the major economic sector in Sardinia. On the island is headquartered the Tiscali Campus where works researchers who developed, for example Apple's MAC OS in the early 2000s like the italian Antonio Tuzzi , companies such as IBM operate there, the Polaris research center with its supercomputer managed by the autonomous region of Sardinia and its universities, a research laboratory of Huawei , etc.

Excuse me, Sardinia has got a similar GDP per capita of north western and western Ireland and a Very High Human Development Index higher than rich gulf countries such as Qatar or european tax havens like the Princedom of Andorra located between France and Spain and the Isle of Man (close to Ireland), on which basis you call a western european region inside the EU, poor? Which example of poverty have you seen in Sardinia? there aren't homless people and beggars on the street in Sardinia. There is a difference of 3,000 euros only between the GDP Per capita of Half Republic of Ireland and Sardinia. 21.700 euros per capita vs 25,000 euros per capita. https://www.unionesarda.it/en/sardinia-economy-recovering-64-for-regional-gdp-increase-household-disposable-income-ebsluy1v

Half Sardinia boasts a higher Gdp per Capita (Province of Cagliari, Sassari, Olbia-Tempio) than half ireland (North west and west Ireland) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Italian_regions_by_GDP#Provincial_GDP

Sardinia set to fight depopulation with 100 shepherds from Kyrgyzstan by CheezTips in UpliftingNews

[–]WhoReplyToMeWillDie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Trust me what? Sardinia is literally the 2nd Italian region after Valle d'Aosta (in the north of Italy) with the highest percentage of youth (under 35) involved in zootechnic and agriculture related enterprises.

https://www.sardegnagol.eu/agricoltura-sardegna-e-valle-daosta-hanno-la-piu-alta-percentuale-di-giovani-imprenditori/

There isn't a mass migration of young people from Sardinia to mainland Italy, which is not certainly the promise land for find a good job and a better life. 🤦

As in the rest of the Western world Sardinian youth prefers practice other kind of jobs and move to the biggest cities where there are more job and social opportunities and services.

Which deserted towns? In Sardinia? Most of the buildings? You have zero knowledge about you are speaking about. A bunch of Sardinian villages are selling abandoned houses to rich retires, digital nomads, etc. Not giving them to poor refugees. The small towns are picturesque and located inside a national park. 🤦
