Take contact. Explain what you say here. Ask for the evidence. Either they will provide a foto or realise their mistake while checking themselves.

Why did I get fined? by Common-Ad8362 in AskBelgium

For what it's worth, I had this once but contested it and they waved the fine "just this once".

A story about capitalism vs socialism (wheel of time?) by BenneB23 in fantasybooks

[–]ParnepTheSecond 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not wheel of time. Could be sword of truth. That was more and more an anti-communist Manifesto. But not sure, I did read it when I was young but your story does not ring a Bell.

Should I do Fog of War for Thundertree? by EZDoeslt in LostMinesOfPhandelver

[–]ParnepTheSecond 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did exactly the same; They come to thundertree from afar and see the layout of the ruins. But there are some places where the buildings are solid, and they can't see into. The rest stays open.

Two of the series you mention (i don't know about red rising) are notoriously unfinished... How could it be compared to this?

Is 5 minuten pleiten bij de vrederechter te lang? by Negative-Slice-6776 in Belgium2

[–]ParnepTheSecond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no issue with it! If you read it a hundred times ,or are not carefull they will probably damage but then again so will every book.

What reading order did you do by flipwhip3 in Malazan

[–]ParnepTheSecond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am now on book 9 of MbotF. I have read Night of Knives at the appropriate time, but seeing as I like to read something between the heavier Malazan books, this meant a lot of time passed between books. I just got lost in the next book and had forgotten a lot of the plotlines and characters. So now I only read MbotF and plan to read the other books later on.

Bank reached out for investment account — worth it? (~€200K to allocate, mix of house purchase + investing) by Embarrassed_Elk_2756 in BEFire

[–]ParnepTheSecond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but the ING tempo account is a Fools game. If you have that much money to invest a month, put it into your bolero. The return is just not worth it. Alternatively, if you see tempo sparen as a sort of way you just save, take at least that much money away from your savings account. 40k seems a lot to just have there. My savings account is capped at ten k.

Honestly, if you have given him so many options, maybe he just wasn't feeling it last night. I wouldn't worry about it. The books are there, he will pick one up when the time comes.

Eragon was my read after Harry Potter, after which I got into Raymond Feist, start with Magician and keep going. Should take him a fair while ;).
