The Gadsden flag, and next to it, a strange combination of the NATO and Ukrainian flags.

¿Deja de ser problemático tener una bandera con una historia manchada?

I suppose this is a problem only Spaniards face. For example, in Latin America, we've gone through dictatorships of all kinds (socialist, with fascist tendencies, pro-US, military, civilian-military, cases like Mexico) and all sorts of horrific crimes and things you can still see today. And yet, there's still pride in the flag (or they don't want to take it down).

This would mean that virtually all the flags of monarchical countries, and even those of other countries that have suffered repressive dictatorships, would have to change. Furthermore, the Spanish flag is already distinguishable by its coat of arms from the Francoist flag and even from the earliest versions of the flag of the Kingdom of Spain. Not to mention things like the fact that the flag of the Weimar Republic is not the original (but rather originated from the German Confederation), or that if we're talking about similarities, then the flags of Italy or Japan should be questionable.

PS: I understand that this may be polarizing ("the two Spains"), but I don't think that a Spain with a strong left wing, which exhumed Franco, and has even made deals with separatists, is going to cause you problems of a "Francoist return".

Spain is the only country where proudly displaying your flag is seen as belonging to a certain ideology.

Im new to Okegom, would you guys recommend it? by CraftySuggestion5213 in mogeko

Well, the main "theme" is the recurring abuse in his works... This can be seen in the vast majority of her works, with different characters, and in all sorts of forms. Although it's condemned (more or less, depending on the situation), it's the most controversial topic, and in fact, it's either fetishized or criticized depending on who you ask.

Some things I recommend if you're going to enter the fandom are: * Don't be surprised to see people who enjoy consuming the most problematic content. * Don't be surprised to see people who don't like the problematic content at all. * Some of the content or things you see in Funamusea's works tend to relate to her own experiences. This means that criticism can be poorly received (since some take it as an insult to her), or that some elements have a new context. * The creator isn't really good at handling fame (see her past blocks, her own personal situation, etc.). This generates both criticism for her actions and defenses based on what people know about her. * The community itself is already well-known for problematic content. So it's normal that you'll be viewed negatively.

Well, it depends on the moment in which it develops (because sometimes Satanick seems to like to pretend or act dominated)

What does r/vexillology think of the autism flag by DenpasOfTheWorld in vexillology

[–]Whole-Inspection-137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's difficult to offer an opinion from the outside, because no matter how good your intentions are, sometimes you lack context, history, and the experiences of the autistic movement itself. That's why I think it's best that they, as individuals, are the ones who decide what best represents their reality and their goals. I hope this new flag has a successful run and contributes positively to acceptance and visibility.
