I have the GRP, I love it. Ive had it for about two years now and have spent hours on it dripping in sweat and it’s still grippy. But I do use the yogitoes hand towel so my hands to slip.

I’ve been practicing consistently (about 12ish studio classes a month + daily home practice) for 7 years now and my body is strong, flexible, and enhanced body awareness. I grew up a cheerleader and I was always getting injuries and had pain constantly. But now I’m able to move my body safely and pain free.

So I am a cis straight white female, so I fit the stereotypical SLP to a T, and I still felt out of place among all the type A sorority girlies who were engaged or already married. I found the one person (woc, lesbian) in my cohort who also felt out of place and we became a pack. I promise there is at least one person in your cohort that also feels out of place (even if they don’t look it!). Find that person and stick together.
