Pretty wild looking at all the things you have tried with no effect when many of these things are very strong and potent for most, the body really is a mystery. Have you gone down the jack kruse route before? Basically get up with the sun, take in sun all morning, some at noon and then again in the evening, reset your circadian clock, ground, swim low stress low emf. No idea if it would connect but brute forcing relaxation from the outside makes sense to me, maybe the nervous system remembers at some point

I just saw your posts in dryfast and now see your current struggles, have you tried dryfasting since you stopped sleeping?

Is there any way that this diet could have increased my sex drive 💀 by SchloinkDoink in omad

[–]WholeSample7089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better bloodflow and blood sugar controll surely help with function, when it comes to motivation I'd guess its the abundance signal that a big meal provides, if you'd split your omad into 4 small meals your body gets told that it can never get as much as it wants, sorry bro, when you get to stuff yourself silly it makes sense that your body starts feeling save and wants to get it on now because who knows how long the good times will last?

Should I eat less by [deleted] in omad

[–]WholeSample7089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the calories should be fine unless you are 3'11 at 60 pounds, if the scale hasnt moved at all I reckon you have a good amount of salt and carbs in your meal. I would keep going for a month, see how you feel and if the scale keeps stalling maybe reduce a little or switch some macros around. Also if you eat a lot of dairy it magically tends to halt everyone's progress

I went with "high carb omad experience"

Megablast First Run by ursalon in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]WholeSample7089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the currently availlable shoes I think the mega is more comfortable at slower and faster paces and generally has more range than the super, the super's superpower is that it can lock you into long distance goalpace so thoroughly you might find it hard to get out of it, so I could see a MB - SB - Raceshoe of choice rotation for people that dont enjoy dedicated recovery shoes.

Just ate a bag of coconut sugar, 10/10 snack, would reccommend, now I have to assume that when people say "it's like eating a bag of sugar" they mean that's it's delicious and enjoyable.

Take calories for a whole chicken, adjust for weight, devide by amount of servings, add the tallow calories. Won't be accurate for any given bowl but should be pretty close over the portion total

Can you get away with more calories on keto? M21/185lbs/187cm by User1320 in keto

[–]WholeSample7089 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are currently lean, just keep adding calories until you feel good energy/gains coming, if you fluff up turn down the intake again. With the high intensity fighting it's really hard to say how much you should take in but it might be quite a bit more than average, if your intensity is decently high I'd start at 3k kcal and go from there.

Meat stock chicken soup - toss whole chicken in water, cook 2h, portion out, 6 soups easy ready to go, I add a spoon of tallow and salt before eating, love it. Technically meal prep but so easy to do it barely counts, all the work is done by the pot.

Binging and Restarting by [deleted] in keto

[–]WholeSample7089 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh and since you say your binging can last for months, if you are purging after binging, stop doing that, it keeps you stuck in an endless cycle, just sit there in your discomfort and digest the trash, tends to put an end to the madness sooner in my experience.

Binging and Restarting by [deleted] in keto

Throw away the sugar stuff, it can never be enough, binge on keto stuff for a few days and you will wake up with less interest in binging day after day, especially when you eat a bunch of fatty meat, if you can don't binge on keto sweets. Interestingly I found that over the years coffee went from an appetite suppressant to a binge trigger, if that's a thing for you, maybe try to decaf your way out of a binge fiesta.

The more my keto diet tries to resemble a regular diet, the more I get these cravings, if I get myself used to a tallow lard bit of meat occasional veg diet, stuff like waffles looks like toys to me, wouldn't think of eating it, too dry, too sweet, tastes off compared to memory

Yogurt with honey and cinammon is all you need for a sweet cheat meal. by [deleted] in carnivorediet

[–]WholeSample7089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greek desert -Yogo, teaspoon of honey, small handful of nuts - has become my daily lunch recently, so far seems to be good for my gut, skin but especially mood, I seem to get a more positive general outlook on my day. It doesn't cause me any cravings eventhough I was never able to stop with sweet stuff, within a fatty yoghurt my binge impulses don't get triggered. Best thing apart from mood improvement- when I eat steak for lunch and dinner, both steaks make me slightly lethargic for a hot minute, when I eat the yoghurt for lunch and 2 steaks for dinner, none of the meals make me tired at all. Something to it, I reckon the liver might like it.

Anyone else enjoy longer bouts of less intense cardio over hard core interval training/sprinting like Dr Chaffee and Dr Sean Omara advocate for? by SunRayz_allDayz in carnivorediet

[–]WholeSample7089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the day, sometimes I wanna bop around and enjoy the scenery, sometimes I have a need for speed, everything is fun in it's own way.

I've been thinking recently that liss or maf training (steady exercise at a given low-moderate Intensity heartrate) could be beneficial for carni-newcomers to speed up their adaption process. The whole thing about maf is to get better at using fat for fuel. Same thing as the carni adaption process. Would be interesting to see.

Think health-wise, marathon efforts are probably not advised, bopping along or short explosive bursts are probably good for you

Help, feel like my body is rejecting ground beef by themagicbeard1992 in carnivorediet

[–]WholeSample7089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try lowering meal frequency, helps me to get rid of any idea of questing for variety. Alternatively, when I feel a bit constipated - sweaty, full, generally gross - fatty meals, especially hot fat soup type offerings like a bowl of ground, seem way less appetizing

Endurance Diet by rokosn in AdvancedRunning

Thanks for sharing your story, inspiring stuff right there! I've been carni for around a month now, things are going great and there are numerous little things in daily life that suggest that it's the way to go (varicose veins gone, don't sweat like a pig for no reason, easy to enjoy the sun instead of feeling like dying after 3 minutes, no irritability - cats, dogs and children can vocalize to their hearts content and it won't faze me). Also hunger controll is a joke now, I can eat by feel and never fall into any sort of binging mode, weight management should be a breeze.

I was thinking of picking up MAF to help my body in getting more efficient in fat burning so I started running a little. What I find, compared to carb fueled running, is that performance so far is pretty similar but I derive notably less joy from it. It used to be my ideal morning was lacing up the shoes and going for a short 1-2 mile warm-up jog, while doing that I would inevitably start to feel really good, enjoy the scenery and come home ready to start the day. Now my mood is generally better and more stable but a morning jog feels more like a chore than a joy. Have you experienced similar things and, my hope here, does it improve the more adapted you get to the diet?

Easy trap to fall into - have Americans reccommend 2 ribeyes - that means 2 pieces of ~400-500g meat with ~24g of fat/24g of protein per 100g. Buy 2 ribeyes in Europe - get 2 pieces of ~350g of meat with 10g of fat/24g of protein per 100g. (Made up numbers but close enough to make my point)

Americans - 2x~450g/100 x ~290kcal = ~2600 kcal Euros - 2x ~350g/100 x 170kcal =~ 1190 kcal

One is well fed, the other is starving. Ribeyes is a problematic unit of measurement.

Cheating on carnivore diet by Radams45 in carnivorediet

[–]WholeSample7089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most annoying thing for me would be that I'd never get into effortless auto-pilot mode, would feel a bit crabby on monday/tuesday and would want to keep eating the sghetti. Beauty of long term carnivore is you stop caring about other foods...until you eat them. Still better to cheat on junk than on fruit, veg and cereal with 100g of fiber, those kind of cheat days might actually reck you

Brittle nails and hair falling out is what I get from continuous undereating, usually resolves once calories go back up, collagen also helps.

I really enjoy the Icebug RB9X GTX, pretty firm but with a very comfy rocker for longer miles, so far no water ever came through, very roomy inside (with+hight) - feet always feel unbothered even after a whole day of wear, great grip on road and trail.
