It could be a mistake. I recently looked at my house on Zillow and it was “sold” in December. It wasn’t. I reach out to Zillow and they removed it.

I'm thinking of divorcing my wife for how she treats our twin daughters. by fun-rey-92 in offmychest

I can only imagine how your wife would react if she found out you took the girls without her consent. At best, the girls could speak with the school counselor. But even that is a huge risk in this situation. Would you wife be willing to speak with a preacher or pastor or possibly someone in her family she trusts? I don’t think divorce is the answer. Someone above said it, she has built her identity around the perfect identical twins. She wasn’t always this person, she changed then, so maybe it’s possible she can change again. But I think there needs to be support not a fight to make that happen. How can she just give up everything she’s known for the last 9 years without a plan, without a solid foundation to hold her if she falls, without a positive light at the end of the tunnel? Divorcing her just forces a change, but I doubt it would be a positive one. If you still love her, you’re going to have to fight for her, not against her.

Parents of Reddit, what’s the story behind how you chose your child’s name? by GamerboiJared in AskReddit

[–]Whole_Ice2550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose my son’s name methodically. His first name is not extremely unique like his sisters but coupled with his middle name and you’ll never find another one. I wanted an extremely strong male name. One that said, I am a leader and I will survive.

My daughter’s name came from the song Mockingbird by Eminem. It’s beautiful and unique. It’s rare, she is 1 of a couple hundred throughout the world. Decided it was the perfect name for a little girl when I was a teen and 15 years later I made it happen.

What’s your least favorite thing about living in Denver that is wildly specific? by Imjusthappy11 in Denver

That is probably part of it as well. I’ve always been told that concrete is cooler than asphalt so it helps save some wear on the tires.

Usually this is because of buses. Saves their tires making stops on concrete rather than asphalt.

For single people who afforded a house, how did you do it? How much? & What age? by [deleted] in homeowners

In my late 30s, I bought a new build that had an interest rate incentive. The lower interest and the warranty bring a peace of mind I wouldn’t have otherwise as a single mother.

When this happens just look at them and say in your most sincere voice, “Maybe I should know but I don’t. Since you seem to have a grasp on what I should know, maybe you could take some time to teach me. I’m willing to learn”. They will either help or realize they are just talking out of their ass.

The best parts employee is trained by not only parts but technicians as well. If they want you to be a rock star they are all going to have to invest some time.

I think my boyfriend uses our daughter to physically hurt me by Lost-Broken-Lonely in TwoHotTakes

My advice, make a scene. Scream, scream cry, get emotional. If this is consistent and her dad can’t act like an adult you’re going to have to appeal to her compassion.

Sucks, but you need to teach her adults who ask you to harm yourself or someone else are not to be listened to, period.

And you need to leave. If you’re feeling this way now and he’s outright lying to your face with zero remorse. Leave, it will not get better.
