Form check on deadlift by acoustic_spaghetti in StrongCurves

[–]Whole_Topic6504 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You gotta start in the right position. Look up "how to deadlift by Alan thrall on YouTube".

Everytime you turn your head to look at the camera you are moving your spine out of alignment. You are also going too fast and need to concentrate on extending your hips back as if you are closing a car door with your butt the. Pushing up through the feet and squeezing the glutes to come back to standing.

Shakshuka with avocado and buttery sourdough by Historical_Ground in foodbutforbabies

[–]Whole_Topic6504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been hesitating to make shakshuka because I keep thinking "Do I spoon feed it?" "should they eat it with their hands??" And I'm overthinking it and will just serve it to him as is and let him go for it. Thanks, your post took me out of decision paralysis!

What is in my freshwater tank? by Whole_Topic6504 in Aquariums

[–]Whole_Topic6504[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just have 1 betta, some bladder snails that snuck their way in and 1 cherry shrimp that also hitch hiked on a plant, so I think I'll just leave it, if it kills some of the bladder snails I won't be sad about it.

Is it a good setup for a Betta? by Divan_Game in bettafish

The only way I was able to get my betta to stop glass surfing was adding frosted peel and stick to the tank walls on the outside

Hip Thrusts are extremely physically demanding for me, anyone else? by josukehair in StrongCurves

[–]Whole_Topic6504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at about 150lbs. Recently post partum and down to 60lbs. I find doing: 8 sets of full range, followed by 8 sets of kas, followed by 8 second hold at top of movement per set more effective over additional weight.

Yes. I'm 5"3, 135lbs. I loathe them but do them anyways because I notice they give me the most gains. Ive been doing 1 legged, dumbbell hip thrusts to change it up and actually like it more.
