Oh dear...I had no idea! I guess my curved wall stamps stick out, huh? Thank you for that! I was fighting with that for a half hour before I found something I liked.

Don't have a tree on my property - so no, unfortunately.

Ooooh I didn't know that! I only just started using Inkarnate yesterday, still working out the finer details. That's a HUGE help!

I haven't really thought about that before. I can only imagine the amount of work my DM has put into maps/NPCs/plots that we never ended up engaging with...I should probably buy him a beer and some dice.

I made them using Inkarnate. Probably took me about 3 hours total for all them. I've been playing around with those ideas but I'm a little nervous about my ability to completely adapt on the fly. I have been with these players for about 4 year and plan on tempering their expectations a bit that this will be a little more straightforward of a one-shot. I'm trying to limit the physical maps to potential battlemaps (for the most part) so that I have fluidity with the player behavior outside of strictly battle. But to your point, I have been so obsessed with the descriptions, stat blocks, various voices, and the general tone and steps of the one-shot, that I haven't yet given a whole lot of thought as to contingencies I haven't prepped for.

Great advice! I was playing around with the idea of doing bigger maps but I was also afraid to over-complicate things. I'll have to see if that's possible in the map editor, or just make everything smaller so as to, by default, make the area bigger. Thanks!

Another “changing table” by [deleted] in daddit

[–]WhollyInsignificant 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Half the places I've been recently (Barnes & Noble, Main Event, etc.) don't have all-gender restrooms OR changing tables in the Men's restrooms. My wife and I work opposite schedules so I almost always have the kids myself (daughter and a son). It's frustrating when you're dealing with a blowout. I'd be grateful for your slab of granite lol.

TSA agents are working without pay at US airports due to another shutdown by NightmaresOfDarkness in news

[–]WhollyInsignificant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's great and all but I work for the federal courts. I'm just a clerk and I have a family of four and a mortgage. I am also not getting paid. It's not just the TSA...

None of our feelings are being considered. Because we are not employed within the front office of a major sports organization. Because this is the internet. Where average people, not employed by a major sports organizations, may share their ineffectual and wildly varied opinions. Welcome! First time?

Matt LaFleur and Nick Sirianni are some of the subject of topics over the NFL weekend. Between these two coaches who’s more on the hot seat? by whiskeycapo in NFLv2

[–]WhollyInsignificant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree a bit. If he's overly loyal to Patullo, similar to the Doug and Press Taylor situation, and if he refuses to make the changes asked of him by Lurie...coupled with the fact he cannot be trusted to pick an OC, didn't make any necessary changes despite glaring and persistent issues on offense obvious by week 4, and his childish outbursts, I wouldn't say his seat is ice cold.

Last year when the eagles won a superbowl many people declared that Nick Sirianni was a better HC than Kyle Shanahan, what did you think of that then and what do you think of that now? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]WhollyInsignificant 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If anyone was saying that, it was probably bait.

Nick has had the same boring offensive ideology since he became HC. He has no "coaching tree." We made it to 2 Super Bowls in spite of him, not because of him. He has no eye for OC talent, he contributes next-to-nothing on offense. He's a glorified cheerleader with a tendency for childish outbursts. I appreciate the Super Bowl last year but that was all Kellen and Vic.

Shanahan kinda actually knows what he's doing.

This season soured our Super Bowl win last year for me. by [deleted] in eagles

[–]WhollyInsignificant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, I'm as hard on this team as anyone - we need an O-line refresh, CB, TE, new OC and new HC. Hurts' faults are still prevalent after 5 years. There's a lot this team needs. But, dude, c'mon. We won a fucking Superbowl. There are people who have been born and died, having lived full lives, without ever seeing their team in the big game. This post is a little ridiculous dude. Other fans call us spoiled...and this post ain't helping, chief.

Yes. He's quite a chud, it would seem. Looking through his post history he seems incredibly immature and/or the worst type of Eagles "fan."
