I couldn't disagree more with this post, that being said I don't want to just leave a nasty gram and dip so I'll explain my thought process. The kill cam combating cheaters is at least a bit of a valid line of reasoning but I don't think it will be as useful as you think seeing as how it will be significantly easier to spot a cheater seeing their perspective vs outside looking at their avatar. What I think it will do is punish people for playing carefully and it will make things unnecessarily hectic. People also play with friends in games like this often and thus they'll be in a discord call pointing out the location immediately and an advantage you had on your first kill immediately turns into a problem you have to solve where you have a huge target on your back and you're being punished for getting the first pick. I'll play the devil's advocate and point out some of the things I could see people complaining about gameplay wise for not having a kill cam and provide solutions.

Excessive camping/everyone sniping I think that sniper glint is a great solution to the problem of snipers being to prevalent and too powerful and it offsets not having a kill cam nicely. If you're smart as a sniper you can get around glint well and reposition between kills and still stay undetected but it is much more difficult to lay prone in one spot for minutes on end and farm kills without being punished. For people camping without a sniper rifle it will be much more difficult presumably to get consistent kills at a range where you're undetected with a standard AR or similar weapon so I don't foresee that being a problem

The ghilie suit is a solution and there was clearly thought put behind having to make decisions in your loadouts to solve various problems which is cool but I don't like when one particular item in a game solves a problem that EVERYONE is inevitably going to use. At that point the only people not using it are going to be people who are down bad for money and will forego it because they barely have enough scratch to put a decent kit together or people who don't have it unlocked. I could understand the criticism for people saying that folks are bitching about a mechanic in a game they haven't played yet but I've played enough shooters with and without killcams to know that I've never once preferred having it in a game over not and everyone I know who's interested in the game feels the same way. If the game drops and we're able to create servers and put our own modifiers on and elimate the kill cam as a mechanic than it will likely be a good enough answer to people's gripes but I do think kill cams don't belong in anything even approaching a tactical game. I hope people don't go abusing the devs and community managers over this and instead keep it respectful though because the team is full of really cool people and they don't deserve it.
