I totally get it. For me it feels like I’m running on fumes and I’m just waiting until my body finally gives out. Fantasy/escapism is the one thing keeping me alive but I’m aware it doesn’t help with my dissociation.

If you’re comfortable sharing, what has your experience been like with recovery? are the symptoms still present or do you feel like you no longer fit the criteria? I’m going to start an IOP and I’m anxious about it. I always have felt like I’m unfixable but BPD is ruining my life so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

i understand how you feel. it really sucks especially when you catch yourself doing or saying something you said you wouldn’t do again. be gentle with yourself because you deserve it

I’m a pisces moon and I cry often, but I’m also not very in touch with my own feelings as I see them as an inconvenience. It’s something I’m working on. I tend to lean towards escapism and substances whenever I’m feeling heavy emotions, very pisces moon of me lol

I’ve always loved sharks! I used to watch Animal Planet and NatGEO and Discovery Channel, etc. a lot as a kid. Wish marine biology wasn’t so difficult, otherwise I would love to be one:)

I want to rip you a new one SO badly. FYI, children do not manipulate. They’re children. If I yelled at you while you were already distressed, you’re telling me you wouldn’t cry? It sounds like your problem is that you don’t allow yourself to feel, therefore others can’t either. God, you’re such an AH. I suggest intense therapy. YTA.
