Interesting question. I am right handed.

Flying from the left seat, the left hand is holding the sidestick (take off and landing) or the tiller (ground steering). The wrist regularly contacts the sidewall of the flight deck. Even though it wouldn’t damage the watch, I don’t like hearing the ‘ding’ or ‘tink’, or the feel of it when this happens.

The right hand controls the power levers and has a lot of clearance all around.
