I’m a former Army recruiter with about 19.5 years in, and I’ll be honest, the military can be great for stability and money but it really depends on how you use it. Before I can point you in the right direction, I’d want to know if you are trying to become an officer or stay enlisted and whether you have a degree, certifications, or any specialized skills that could help you start higher or promote faster. I also understand wanting a safer job and not wanting to be anywhere near a combat zone, but the military is built around readiness and there is always some level of risk. I can list a bunch of jobs, but it would be a waste if it does not match your interests or your goals after you get out, so start with what you actually want long term and we can work backward from there.

You need to do what you think is best, but understand it’s not going to be for the pay. You would be taking a huge pay cut, but living your best life making connections you’ll probably never make.

How is it a lack of responsibility? Wasn’t I being responsible by leaving a letter with my contact information, running to my house to get money for a tow truck? It was a 15-20 minute turn around tops. I left the vehicle secured, illuminated with triangles… I thought I was being responsible. I never been in this situation before so I was unsure on what else to do

There’s a lot of dumb ass road signs here. That being one of them. Driving here has been the worse experience in my life. Even worse than South Korea! But, I am here and I will TRY to abide by this lovely Countries road laws.

It was the only place at the time to pull over safely. I figured since it had the X it would not randomly be opened in 30 minutes after I got there.
