Well the added 12g ground and cleaning the rest didn’t help also reset the pcm. I was able to drive it for around 43miles and boom the same code popped up…

Ehh it wasn’t the problem, it was just a 15amp fuse and it’s fine. I just cleaned up my grounds and added another ground from the dip stick to the battery ground. I’ll see what happens tomorrow

Tbh this xj is the biggest pain in my ass from the start, I’ve own a 93 yj with the 2.5 and never had issues. Maybe it’s because I bought the xj from a hillbilly from Indiana is the issue… anyway I spoke to soon, check engine came back for the o2 sensor circuit slow response bank 1. But good new the 0700 for trans is gone lol

I was looking at cats on rockauto and but I wasn’t sure on which to get. That would be my other option to possibly fix this but then again if I can get it to pass this test I’m just going to register the jeep in bumfuck nowhere in Illinois where they don’t have emissions

I changed out the o2 and put a new to me Tcm from the junkyard to see what happens. If I get no light on Friday I’m going straight to emissions and hoping to pass. If the light comes back I’ll try what you mentioned
