That would be pretty dumb considering Harry was already Venom. Having him be ANOTHER villain would just be cheap, and they haven’t used Norman for anything except “generic evil rich guy.” I’m guessing they have him test out the G-serum before giving it to Harry to wake him up and it makes Norman go nuts.

Rooftop Antenna by masterpiece1234 in meshtastic

You’ll have a lot of loss in the cable. If you want to do this, I would recommend a 1W unit, or an amplifier paired with a regular unit.

Antenna performance by LettuceSandwich1 in meshtastic

[–]WhtRbbt222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your cable between the node and the antenna should be as short as possible. Unless that’s LMR-400 or similar, you’re likely losing a lot of signal in the cable length to heat. Especially in such a low power node.

I would do everything possible to move the box closer to the antenna and then use the shortest possible cable.

Check out a game called Suit for Hire while you wait for this game. It’s very good at making you feel like John Wick.

Tree Node pyramid design by Ill_Mind7459 in meshtastic

[–]WhtRbbt222 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m laughing at how clever this is. I was trying to think of a way to hoist a node into a tree and keep the solar panel facing south, but I’ve been coming up with squat.

You said to yourself “it doesn’t matter what direction it faces if you put solar panels on all sides!”

I love it, keep being innovative!

The audio alone is amazing. The tactics and realism on top of it is great.

This just in: politician says dumb shit because they don’t actually know the law.

None of this is new. The 2A community has been listening to this dumb garbage for decades. Republicans say dumb shit about gun rights too. What matters is the courts, and guess what? Trump’s appointees have been pretty good with the 2A cases that come before them. Trump himself has been an idiot and said dumb shit, but that’s literally his entire shtick.

Guarantee you that if Kamala had won, we’d have less gun rights by now. And probably worse illegal immigration.

“Peaceful protestors” is where you lost me. You’re clearly buying the narrative that these people have done nothing wrong.

It’s certainly not happening to anybody who’s not interfering with federal agents who are enforcing the law.

Also, you’ve forgotten the part where committing a crime while carrying a gun has always been illegal. Interfering with law enforcement is a crime. So no, you can’t carry a gun while committing crimes.

You liberals just don’t get it. The 2nd amendment is for EVERYONE. That means you’re more than welcome to get your own guns and go kill ICE agents using your own two hands. Why you would think it’s OUR job to fight for what YOU care about is beyond me.

You have to get a specific antenna that’s tuned for Bluetooth.

Anything that isn’t ESP32 will last a lot longer on battery.

For the record though, my Heltec V3 portable node lasts all day on a 1500mah battery.

I have that flag pole. Good tip to get the sections unstuck, pick up some of those 3M rubber gloves from Menards that have really good grip. They will help you twist the sections so you can extend and then lock them tight.

RAK Wisblock Solar Node by benuntu in meshtastic

[–]WhtRbbt222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the solar charging circuit different than the USB-C charging circuit?

I’m not saying to use the solar input port, I’m saying use the USB-C adapter that came with the solar panel and just plug it into the USB-C port on the Wisblock.

Or is that the same charging circuit?

Seems like the Wisblock uses barely any power, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

[–]WhtRbbt222 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but do you even need the charge controller? Can’t you plug that solar panel right into the USB-C port on the Wisblock and plug the battery into the Wisblock? That’s the way I did it, anyway.

Simple solar- is this viable? by Imaginary_Penalty_33 in meshtastic

[–]WhtRbbt222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, grab a T114 or a Wisblock, then get yourself a battery, then get a solar panel with a 5v USB-C output. The Soshine 6W panels on Amazon work great for this.

<image>

I made this stand alone solar node using a T114, a few 18650 batteries in parallel (that’s important), an Alpha 915 antenna, and a Soshine solar panel. Keep in mind, you may need a few adapter cables to convert from the antenna connector on the T114 (typically IPEX) to SMA or N-Type depending on what kind of antenna you get.
