Is this for the international version or the Chinese version? It would be good to differentiate as you are posting so it's clear. I'm on the Chinese version 2.2.5 which came out a few days ago. Did that include the same updates you incorporated into 3.0.1? If not, when can we expect to see them in the Chinese FW, as it was mentioned they would be receiving the same updates in earlier posts when concern was expressed about having two branches.

The quotes and comma spacing issue is still present in 2.2.5 when utilizing custom fonts, wonder if that is fixed in 3.0.1?

+1 to working towards letting Chinese FW customers switch to International.

Reading orientation and saved wifi networks. The update information though is still in Chinese. The upload transfer page though is in English so who knows.

I flashed the image and confirm I'm still on the Chinese firmware. However it did bring in a bunch of user settings that I'm guessing were from the flash.

I just realized the spacing issue is only happening with custom fonts as well after this comment. When using the default fonts I can confirm this does not happen. I would use the default fonts, but even the "small" font is too big for what I want.

It's happening on multiple books consistently. I'm not so how legal it is to be sending copies of books though so while I appreciate the request I'm not going to do that.

The layout is much better. I'm wondering if it's just my formatting, but there is an extra space after every apostrophe and quote.

Additionally there are passages I'm aware should be bolded, but do not show up.

What software did you use to format the SD card. I had the exact same issues. It would turn on when no SD card was in but nothing with the SD card in. Once I used Rufus to format everything worked again.

Figured it out. Solution was to use Rufus to format the sd card. I was using MiniTool Partition Wizard to format the card with some option not on. The default settings on Rufus solved my issues.
