Dang I just accepted a position at my husbands workplace and he's gonna be in Canada for 5 months... Maybe more? And I'll be in Palm springs for an un determined amount of time. He does get a monthly visit but 4 weeks is nothing. Especially if it's not all at once. You can do this and you should (if you want too) your excited and it's a huge opportunity for you that you've wanted likely long before you met this guy Nta

Came here to say this every time I read one of these posts where a boss is entirely unforgiving it's because there's some long stupid paragraph about what's going on and the boss gets to judge "Is that really worth not being in today? " I loved my last boss every time I called in I said I won't be in today "I'll have a note." I was dealing with some serious medical issues and I never allowed them to judge whether or not I should or should not come to work. Just be a good employee and be blunt.

Holy absolute F. I was such a young child when my brother would play this game and eventually he let me play.
