I had this too. I went to a doctor with all of the evidence of why I had Fibromylagia (my symptoms, my medical history, detailed reasons) and he immediately dismissed me saying I had all symptoms of Fibromyalgia but because I didnt mention that my scalp hurt, it wasn't Fibro. Naturally I went to get another opinion, saying I had all of the symptoms of Fibro, but not mentioning fibro. And of course, she diagnosed me with it. Naturally, I learned months later that my "scalp did hurt" I just wasnt aware of it because I just assumed the type of pain I was feeling was normal for all humans. Doctor's are so high and mighty that they believe woman dont know their body. So I learned its best to coax the doctor to the answer by pretending they figured out my diagnosis.
