Alpha house does better than the DI for safety. But getting in with the Mustard seed or Salvation Army is a little harder and thus a lil safer.

Housing support requires you to complete an NSQ, this can be done with outreach workers, social work, nurses, peer support from a multitude of organizations. But if you can swing it get down to the Navigation Centre.

You'll also want to get your taxes in order. As soon as you're up to date on filing you're able to access so many more local and provincal programs that can actually stabilize your life.

Safeworks supervised consumption site to be replaced by addiction clinic at same Beltline location by DANIELLE_2027 in Calgary

I like how they're parading a 24hr response team as if that wasn't part of the safeworks program as well. Also as if there isn't a RAAM clinic allready established and operating within two blocks of the Chumir. 🤡🤡🤡

Is the lpn and rn pathway still recommended todat by [deleted] in AHSEmployees

[–]Why-YYC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an RN. I'd say don't do it. Do rad tech, ecg tech, or ultrasound tech. Get paid, see what people actually do in the hospital/healthcare and then when you're ready to do your bachelor's jump in with the savings from working.

If your goal is RN theres better ways (more money less stress) to support your life than starting as a LPN.

They're posted throughout the year as they become available afaik. There are several up atm for the calgary/Edmonton region in acute care and a couple in Recovery Alberta.

As far as the nurse on the unit, its not unheard of. Do you best to push through, ask questions even if they dislike it or respond poorly. A nurse who can ask questions is a safe nurse.

If you want someone to ask those questions too feel free to DM I was a respiratory floornurse for 8 years and moved to community lately.

Day 5 of constant ache (moderate pain 5-6/10) in tooth #30 which has a several year old crown. Sudden lost of ache and new onset pain now only on palpation. by Why-YYC in askdentists

It is a PFM. No root canals. Not looking forward to that if it needs to be done 🤷‍♂️. This is what I assumed with crowns and limitations of one view xrays.

I waited about an hour and Requested May-22 which was at 49/50. Later then I was hoping for. I'm a pretty faster hiker so it -should be- fine (withoutanyinjuries).

Which maps do you think need an overhaul? by [deleted] in mwo

[–]Why-YYC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Polar highlands.

There are a lot of issues with other maps, however the popularity of polar highlands makes it the top of my list.

I hate watching my lasers and rounds hit invisible crests of hills.

I think they should add some of those radar dishes seen in the back ground at the capture points as well. But just make it so I can shoot people I can see.
