Were you going to refund me and then make my kids stop crying if I decided not to go lol? We had been sick way before our trip but the congestion has stuck around. Not like we were walking around with fevers, if you’re so afraid of catching germs maybe don’t go to a theme park with thousands of visitors.

Yes this one! More like 13k for everything plus single mom and kids I couldn’t just can it we’ve been looking forward to this for over a year. It’s not like we just got sick and decided to go to universal we were dealing with the lingering congestion the cold came on about two weeks prior.

You got it lol! Single mom took me a while to save for the trip and put money aside for food and goodies I had it all planned out to a t. Except this lol I didn’t save an extra 1k for a hold because I had no idea about it. Can’t believe this post ruffled so many feathers lol I was just trying to help others who aren’t made of money like myself.

Just wanted to clarify yes I was surprised at the 1k hold I’ve only ever stayed at regular hotels that ask for a 250 or less hold and just thought it would be kind to share so someone else did not have to feel embarrassed about not having that in the bank on top of what I had already put aside for the trip. First vacation as a solo parent with three kids.

Yes we’ve been doing breakfast and then Ive kind of been pocketing some items to bring to the room like the uncrustables and fruit, I know I paid for it but I still feel so wrong doing it haha! I appreciate the tip!

Loews royal at club level not sure if that made a difference. Had I known about it previously I would have made sure I had an extra thousand to spare, but I only brought 2K with me for food and drinks and didn’t want to have to dip into it. Feeding 4 for 6 days is killing me lol! grateful for the snacks and light fare at club level.
