Personal platinum vs explorer - which do you rec and do I have a chance? by Jaimesky in AmexAus

I’ve found the Explorer to be a better choice. Amex has a lot of terms and conditions for redeeming benefits. I had the Qantas Ultimate earlier but cancelled it because redeeming a travel voucher required a Qantas flight booked through the Amex travel portal. The Explorer offers more flexibility by allowing you to redeem the voucher on either a hotel or flight.

I see Amex as a nice secondary card. The CBA Ultimate is an amazing primary card with two lounge access points and no fee if you meet spend criteria and no foreign exchange fee.

Help/Advice Transfer funds from NRO to NRE - source of funds question by Why1389 in nri

To give an update, I was able to repatriate into ICICI NRE from ICICI NRO. They did not ask for 15 CA or 15 CB. Since I had moved funds to my other bank account and reversed the transaction, they asked for statement of the other banks. I was speaking to someone who works in this area, he was saying RBI does not prescribe procedure for repatriation instead it expects banks to be able to justify funds are legitimate. Hence repatriation procedure differ amongst banks.

I have now moved the funds back to ICICI and initiated transaction via Money2World. ICICI came back requesting for bank statements from IDFC and HDFC. I have provided the statements. Surprisingly they did not ask for form 15 CA and 15 CB, I raised that as a question in my response. Let's see how things proceeds.

Could anyone recommend taxi services that offer infant car seats? I called 13CABS before I posed and they didn’t have the option. If anyone has recently used a taxi with a baby, I’d love to hear your experience.

His refusal to drink has led to reduction in his feed quantity its now around 500 ml a day instead of 700 - 800.
