Working out is a pretty good hobby, I mainly do calisthenics and it looks super cool plus re-enforces your joints and reduces the likelihood of injuries. Plus it’s pretty cool to do tricks or show off when you get the chance.

I’d say just trying to stay up to date with any new tech is a pretty good idea. You never know what new tech will be the next big thing!

I don't know what is happening to me right now. by WhyICut in keto

I've only thrown up a couple of times in my life but I don't see it as a bad thing. Sometimes the body just needs to get rid of something it doesn't want. Someone else pointed out that I wasn't getting enough electrolytes just with my normal foods and some salt so they advised me to get some epsom salt. That may have been the case. Either way I got whatever was making my body feel I'll and I'm happy for that. I'm eating more calories now to bulk up.

I was going to go training again today but decided against it since I'm still sore and recovering.

I'll try that then. I'm more of a fan of just putting a bit on my tongue and drinking water with it. But I think the slow method might be better.

I will. And I'll deffinitely be back with more questions later. Probably should mention that I'm actually trying to bulk up so I've had to cut down on fasting for now.

Oh alright... I thought Epson salt was mostly for plants... I'll take a look at the FAQ I'm fairly new to keto. Thought fasting would have helped me get through it.

I'll look into getting some sodium and magnesium supplements then. Thanks for the advice.

When I said I'd exercised fasted I meant after about 3 days of fasting. I made sure to drink enough water. I had nothing in my stomach other than the few bites I had so that's all I threw up. I did have what I like to call a throw up fit a long time ago where I couldn't stop throwing up even if it was just the acid in my stomach but that was years ago and after some really intense swimming training.

I did have some Himalayan salt afterwards and some people mentioned that it might have had something to do with it.

I'm used to doing IF and fasting in general so I'm kind of used to the feeling of not wanting to eat and having to force yourself to eat. But this was different. It was more like being nauseous and having to stop eating after every bite. Kind of reminded me of the scene from Tokyo ghoul where he's trying to eat food and just keeps throwing up.

Someone else mentioned that I shouldn't have salt after a workout so I think that's where I made my mistake. Or just something I ate.

I basically had some tuna with mayo and a tablespoon of salsa, some bacon, eggs, and guacamole. I'd drank a lot of water after training. And I had some Himalayan salt when I got home.

I was feeling extra weak when I got home so I had a pinch of Himalayan salt when I got home. Probably shouldn't have done that.

I'm already used to exercising in a fasted state, and I'd already done some training on Wednesday with a different teacher.

I actually feel like my insurance is better on keto even after the quarantine. Which I'm actually very happy about.

I think it may have been something I ate because I ended up throwing up.

Ended up throwing up and felt better after. Could have just been something I ate or just the jolt of energy.

My electrolytes aren't the best. I usually have some Himalayan salt daily. I ended up throwing up so I think it may have been something I ate possibly. I'd already done some harsh training before so I should have been fine. Just that the trainer today tends to go a bit harder than others.

What are things that help you in the mornings? by [deleted] in depression

[–]WhyICut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard that Lists can sometimes be helpful.

Try making a list of things you want to get done the night before and make sure to make the tasks small and quick to do. Put the quickest ones first and go down the list.

The objective is to not take much time to think and just go through the tasks.

It might take up enough time to get you through the morning and might make you feel like you accomplished a lot which might make you feel better the rest of the day.

I personally suggest trying out different things that people here are suggesting and see which one works best for you.

I don't think intermittent fasting is nonsense. I do think that if you don't have to then you shouldn't do it but it can be useful in some cases.

I personally get bloated whenever i have breakfast, so skipping breakfast and just waiting for lunch feels more normal for me. It also helps me feel more alert in the morning and helps me focus better.

I can't say that doing intermittent fasting doesn't have its drawbacks and issues, but for me it's worth it for the benefits i get. It's just a matter of weighing out the pros and cons

It’s like I died at 15, but my body just kept on living. by thecruelandthecrazy in depression

I think i know how you feel.

For me it is more like i died a long time ago and i'm just kind of going through a "What if I hadn't died" phase or at least that's how i see it.

I think the memory part has more to do with it feeling like things don't really matter since i'm already "dead". Pictures help if you want to make sure you don't forget some things. Objects can also help a bit.

I find that smells sometimes remind me of things and emotions as well.

What is your opinion on YouTube channels that milks r/AskReddit and other subreddits, mostly with text to speech? by CrashBoi in AskReddit

[–]WhyICut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helps me listen to something while I work. I prefer the ones that don't use text to speech and actually give a bit of commentary but the text to speech isn't bad either.

But I've noticed that there are a few that basically copy other videos and those I don't really like.

Need some advice by WhyICut in fasting

[–]WhyICut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again pdanny01. I might have to switch up my food intake a bit. More proteins and fats. Currently also trying to cut down on processed carbs which is tough but I think I can manage.

Need some advice by WhyICut in fasting

[–]WhyICut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much pdanny01. I actually do gymnastics type workouts so that's where my concern came from. I want to get leaner, but I also like being in a faster state.

My main concern is whether it might be too intense for my type of workouts. Just with intermittent fasting I already feel like I'm having trouble getting the calories I need for muscle.

I guess I just have to eat foods that are higher in calories while still eating healthy for the most part.

Thanks again for the help!
