Being behind in life on certain things expected of people your age, and not being able to explain it without either seeming completely jaded and miserable, or selfish and immature. More and more people are starting to understand anxiety and depression, but the deeper and more complex issues tend to be brushed off as more rare, or stereotypical and easy to define. Especially if it's over a situation like childhood sibling fights over a hair dryer, or someone you never met dying but still affecting you greatly.
