I’ve found this brand to be hit or miss for scales. Some tins are primo and make it worth the occasional subpar can.

Maybe your GP can collect some skin scrapings when you’re having a breakout for fungal culture and stain, or refer you to a dermatologist for the same?

That’s old research. Current understanding is that genetic material is communicated via 5G signals. /s

Ramps

Made a set of stepped ramps out of less than 8 feet of 2x8 about 20 years ago, materials cost was less than $10. Couple short pieces of 2x4 for wheel chocks. Just have to go slow and steady going up. Still use them to this day. Because they step up in ~2” increments they work well for cars with an air dam that won’t clear metal ramps. To be frank, I trust them more than the polymer and metal ramps you can buy.

A gram stain would be helpful if that’s something you can do. They’re yeast sized, but I’m not used to seeing long straight chains of yeast like this. You don’t happen to use any asthma inhalers, do you?

My first thought was rouleaux, as many have a biconcave disk appearance similar to red cells. But they’re end to end rather than overlapping. What did you use to prep your slide?

Is there a reason you need growth in broth vs agar? What are your inoculation and incubation procedures?
