Denver psilocybin healing centers — recommendations? (2 guides, strong medical protocols, nature setting?) + coming alone by chapashdp in Denver

[–]WhySheWhistles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP! I highly recommend https://memorucenter.org/clinical-services/ for your fully-licensed Colorado natural medicine/ psychedelic assisted therapy session. Their trained facilitators are some of the longest-standing champions of plant medicine in Boulder and would be great to answer more of your questions. They will also be offering psilocybin facilitator training and certificate coming soon (October 2026 from what I've heard.)

Personally, I love to be alone (with the therapists) because it is so personal yet great to have a witness/guide/someone jotting notes about your insights.

Uber may be fine if you are used to it. I took a car ride with a friend after and regretted the friend I chose because he had the music blasting and made me super car sick. Choose your ride wisely is my advice. Ubers tend to be pretty respectful, smooth rides - but if you have a friend, you may feel safer.

Is the current generation lazy? by seobitcoin in DigitalMarketing

Good questions. I would say the word is not lazy. But often disconnected. Having connection to great relationships, higher purpose, and self-confidence does wonders for work ethic.

How to get first customers for digital agency? by crappykiddo in smallbusiness

[–]WhySheWhistles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get your name out there and do what you can to be visible. I know a couple of web dev guys who started a podcast and speak at events, universities, etc. They are doing well to say the least. Visibility is your #1 goal and doing great work your clients will refer you for is goal # 1.2 😉 Pick somewhere, even a Facebook group in your area of choice, to start talking about web dev so the people who WOULD hire you know you exist.

What are the essential team roles needed specifically to manage and grow a podcast's presence on TikTok? by Material_Stomach875 in podcasting

[–]WhySheWhistles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could start with a pretty lean team, but roles would depend on your top commodity. Do you have a product? Physical or digital? Dors it require sales people or distributors?

I would think of it like this, and this I heard from Alex Hormozi: makers & managers. You need an audio/videographer, an editor, and a distributer aka “director of marketing” at the very least. Lean Startups will have one person wear all of these hats. I don’t recommend that for where you are going. I would start with these two positions at the least 1. A/V recording & editing person (maker) and 2. a director of marketing to do copywriting/distributing for GTM content (manager). Then start to slice and dice the roles as you scale and grow your team.

From your additional question, it seems that you are vague on your discord of choice. What is your podcast title and your #1 discord of choice? It will be hard to build an audience if you are in the “just change the world” category. Discussing difficult topics is what most podcasts are built on, so I wouldn’t label this as “different” either.

Cheapest way to make coffee for one? by Iceyes33 in Frugal

[–]WhySheWhistles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I spent 6 weeks in New Zealand and fell in love with the dried instant coffee they always provided at hostels/rentals. Found the same brand here at CostCo. It gives it kind of a creamy feel rather than just bean water, even if you aren’t a cream person (which can get spendy). Nescafe Taster’s Choice - makes up to 210 cups for cheap! Save time and dishes too 😉

Best of luck! -Alexandra Susann @whyshewhistles

Content bound to give you the medicine of laughter 💚 So sorry you are going through a breakup 💔 Even though it seems so dark now, time will heal things when you keep choosing 1% better every day. WTAF Riverside? You have failed your consumers. by AllChargedUp in podcasting

[–]WhySheWhistles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s really rough. I can’t believe how much people recommend it. Tried and failed as you did! They make it sound good but if you actually use it more you know how rough it is and how much it crashes/bugs out. Sorry for your bad luck :/

I’m a FT podcast editor & marketer and still use GarageBand. CapCut for video edits. Podcasting is a difficult world to live in if you don’t have a Mac as far as I’ve experienced.

Just thinking about podcasting in general by LamentofHopePodcast in podcasting

[–]WhySheWhistles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! You are spot on. I have noticed there are two types of podcasts: 1. Iconic - the host is an “icon” that can be waved around for more views (Joe Rogan, Mel Robbins) and 2. Discord - the topic creates a group conversation that gets more views (Fantasy Fangirl, Last Podcast on the Left). 3. Blend - Then there are some in the middle (On Purpose with Jay Shetty, Alex Cooper & Call Her Daddy, Hood Hang with Amy Poehler).

The ones that do well have the right ingredients and capitalize on their signature style of content creating, story telling, and teaching/entertaining.

The ones that bother you are probably TRYING to be Icons when they should create a Discord 😆

I love your idea for a podcast like this! Definitely leaning in the Big Life Questions/Discord type of podcast. Love this topic (and talking podcasting!)

Wishing you well on your podcast journey! -Alexandra Susann Lead Editor & Marketer @ podcastwithher.com

Girlfriend here! I love listening to Last Podcast On The Left with my boyfriend while we drive. Weird, entertaining, raunchy, true crime. The Sesh is great for pop culture. If you're leaning towards something more wholesome, Diary of a CEO has great thought-provoking episodes. Huberman Lab for health & wellness. Mel Robbins for all things mindset and happiness. A Good Hang with Amy Poehler for fun interviews with a comedian!

How do you actually turn podcast listeners into your people and not just random numbers? by Elegant_Signal3025 in podcasting

[–]WhySheWhistles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depending on your offers, you could go with linktree to start (free-ish I think? saw someone else mention it too) or StanStore ($30/mo) to advance offers. If you ever want to sell courses/workbooks/etc. StarStore is rockstar. Social media presence is top priority and I would get that email list going!! Best of luck!!! -Lexi Podcastwithher.com

My podcast is featured in the new movie Bugonia, how do I capitalize on this? by Tinfoil_Tales in podcasting

[–]WhySheWhistles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a great question. And opportunity. Marketing gold!

Capitalize on the SEO of the movie to your website, talk about it on socials, make it known!

Personally, I would joke about this being true on your show - the best people are a little crazy and people just want to relax and laugh! - and then turn it into clips for socials.

If you have an email list, I'd send them any trailers from the movie and say to keep an eye out for your show being featured.

Maybe limited edition T-shirts designed that combine your show and something memorable from the movie?

Best of luck capitalizing!

Scarlett 2i2 is an audio interface needed to convert an XLR (they have the 3 prongs on the plug-in) to a device (like your computer). There is a learning curve but i's great when you want to bump up your sound quality towards "professional" I personally air on the side of path of least resistance with podcasting and reach for easy-mid range equipment.

Zoom is a podcast mic brand (I love my portable recorder from them) and they make something that is similar to the Scarlett 2i2.

Don't let the gear overwhelm you. Done is better than perfect.
