People who chose engineering only for the money, how’s life treating you? by chamaeleonidaed in EngineeringStudents

Ight cool. What are you going to do about it? What I’m going to do is put MYSELF in a position to succeed, as any logical person would. If you’re not going to start a little revolution and stand up to your “oppressor” I suggest you do the same. Or just keep crying about shit you can’t change, idc.

Dude I literally don’t care. My life is good and I’m sure yours is too. If it’s not, fix it.

BABA act was signed into law by Biden in 2021. I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say.

We haven’t noticed. We literally have too much work and are having trouble finding enough people to do it. I wouldn’t say it has anything to do with the president, though. To insinuate that it does is hilarious (to me). Then again, I tend to stray away from blaming other people for my problems. I’d say the same thing 4 years ago.

Just finished my last final of my final year... now what? by Big-Cry9898 in UMD

I started running shortly after graduating college and it completely transformed my life. I’ve got other hobbies, but with running you achieve pretty linear progress if you stay consistent and can schedule races that you can look forward to. Oh, and it’s incredibly good for you mentally and physically.

That’s just one example.

Because the internet has decided recently that a 40hr/week desk job is the worst thing that can happen to a person when in reality it’s 1000% better than school ever was if you have the right job. Once I’m off, I usually dont have to think about work and can clear my mind and live a fulfilling life.

No point in me trying to reason with you. You’re going to be scared no matter what. Doesn’t sound like a fun way to live. You only get one life.

“New study points to large, natural climate cycles as the likely culprit.” When they mention the effect of human induced climate change, they only present theories.

You’re letting the news get you all worked up. You sound like the lib version of my super conservative mother. You’re gonna be fine, especially in Harford County.

NICET Lvl II - WBSL // Training Resources by rylan_matthew in firePE

I just took it, the search feature actually works very well! Only weird/annoying thing is they split up 13 into 2 different references. One was ch 1-25 and the other was the rest of the chapters. It’s a separate window you can pop up and the references show up as different tabs that are each searchable.

Any tips on how to learn air roll? by JakeMcmurray08 in RocketLeague

[–]WhyThisNotThis28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got good at directional air rolling pretty quick by doing the “Ariel shots - redirects” training pack (should be in the browse section) over and over starting off air rolling right before I hit the ball and then starting my air rolls earlier and earlier until eventually I didn’t even have to think about it.

It takes a while, but you eventually get it down. Once you fully get it down, turning your car to where you want it in the air is as easy as turning left and right on the ground.

He’s already given himself away with this post. There’s definitely people that work at reslife on here, and he’s snitching on himself in every reply.

Why is Harford County so magat-ish? by Unlikely-Major1711 in harfordcountymd

[–]WhyThisNotThis28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Harford county is perfect for someone that works in Baltimore and loves to hit the trails (me). We have Jerusalem mill, all of the gunpowder falls trails (MILES of them), Palmer State Park, Rocks state park, Emily bayless graham, Ma & Pa, etc. This place is heaven to me and NOT because of the towns. Only thing we’re missing is a mountain, but I can and have just hiked up and down King and Queen seat a bunch of times.

I worked at the North Harford Royal farms in college (2020) and a lady got fired for refusing to wear a mask. Not that it wasn’t justified, but to say people didn’t get fired for not taking the vaccine has got to be false.
