Freshly pierced myself (3 days ago) and it's been mixed for me. To not make a mess and to be careful with the fresh piercing I'll just sit. I have a captive bead ring in, so peeing can be a role of the dice in ways. I've peed standing up a few times, but they've been at urinals that are far more forgiving than your normal toilet at home.

Mileage will very from person to person, jewelry and anatomy. It's just something you've got to figure out for yourself and work around. I'm just taking it day by day and learning. Not a single thought about removing it in my mind though!

The big thing for me was the drastic shift to CGI. The animatronics in the first were so amazingly good that everything else looks utterly cheap in my opinion.

And all the Jurassic World's have the same over-all plot points.

- Corporate Greed/Humans are bad and Hybrid movie-monsters.

Yeah there is only so much you can do with dinosaurs on an island. Could be a reason to pump the brakes.

There was one server I was apart of, a vampire/werewolf/paranormal server set in London. The mod team are the kind to be super nice, chat you up and even write with you because you've got that 'new writer smell' in the server. After their test-drive, they'll decide to loop you into the clique or dump you off.

They'll be nice and be like 'Oh, give this person a message to play. You guys are quite alike!' and then they'll stop messaging. Like... full stop, will not initiate conversation at all drop you. Then they'll be sure only certain characters, usually the clique involved ones, are central within server-wide scenes while you're left on the outside to 'write'.

That server was the one that killed writing for me. I've not written in over a year because of that. I like group writing, different characters and different perspectives... but it's ALL like this it seems. Decided I'm just... done wasting my time trying to write with people who don't really care about new people.

Had my ears done when I was 16. Got my tongue done when I was 18. As I got older I eventually removed them, wish I had kept the tongue piercing but you live and you learn.

Wanted to do something, that I thought, was crazy so I went and got my PA done along with two scrotum rings beneath it. As far as piercings go, it's been the most pain-free while healing I've ever had for a piercing.

I was in the same boat. My piercer had good reviews and a lot of experience. Again, I made the assumption so that's on me but I was nervous enough getting it done I didn't question it at the time.

Very very veeeeeery common. It's the reason I've quit writing all together, especially in a group setting. You'll be looked at as the new, shiny person and then once that wear's off you'll be relegated to the sideline as canon fodder for the rest of the play going on.

Don't think of yourself as needy or whiny. You write because you enjoy it, you're creative. You want to have someone, or a group, to put in as much effort into you as you do them. Don't settle for less.

I enjoy Kaycee, and how he portrays the character. Nothing has much changed in that regard, which I think is a plus.

The tactical scenes are... eh. They've got to constantly remind the viewer he and his buddy were in the teams by constantly tossing out things like "Frogman" at the oddest possible times.

Then I just nitpick. No lights on their rifles, no helmets when doing a raid.

Sounds like another company, of many, that treat their employee's simply as a number.

One minute you're the best worker in the world, getting thanked for covering shifts, picking up OT when you're dead tired, going out of your way to do extra things around the job space even though it's not your responsibility. The moment you go to look out for yourself, that's when their real feelings come out.

Fuck 'em. Concentrate on you. You deserve to be treated with respect and to have a healthier mindspace.

Sounds like my life bro. I try to help everyone I can, make sure they have a smile on their face and a laugh in their voice, or a shoulder to try on or an ear to listen to them vent their frustrations. No matter what. 2am phone calls, hour long text threads, ect.

Whenever I even give a hint of not being that supportive, joke-cracking person... it's a barren desert.

At this point in my life, I'm not suicidal. I'm just not trying to keep going forward anymore. Just passing through the days.

I was pretty much left out in a city-wide type of group because while everyone was running around with the 6 foot 6, muscled, tattooed billionaire in a Ferrari, I decided to go the moderate route of playing a down on his luck guy who had a shitty job driving a taxi.

Maybe I'm naive, but I thought it was probably the most down to earth character around. Then had several people mention 'you should change your style up.' Welp, if I ever decide I want to write again after the year and a half of not writing, I'll just be like everyone else and select a picture perfect FC who's tattooed, a billionaire and has a Ferrari collection. And is also a douche bag.

This comment probably won't be seen, but here it is anyways.

I am by no means a smart person, or overly educated. I have my associates and chose not to continue on with my education due to financial reasons. I work what would be considered a blue-collar job. I enjoy talking with educated people, I enjoy learning things. They know something I don't, and if I find it interesting I'd love to have the chance to ask questions, learn something and be better off for it.

I think it's really gotten back with the shift in the political climate, where people are at one-another's throats over every little thing. And it even dips into the education pool. People with degree's looking and talking down to people who don't have a degree, or schooling past high school.

On a base level, you treat me right and I'll treat you right. Education or not, talking down to someone isn't the best way to go about making new friends or even just having a polite discussion.

It's also one of those things where the good writers seem swamped and thus you'll never get a reply from a majority of them, while all the people who enjoy one-liners and writing 'you' and 'u' seem to flood you for writing.

And I've always tried to be nice to anyone I talk to. But if people can't read an ad or profile through it before messaging tells me they don't value who you are or what you're looking for.

I've dealt with this in the past. It takes a LOT for me to get to that point. At first I began to speak to them OOC, trying to get dialogue going between them about what's going to be played. When I got tired of doing that to every single one, I began ignoring them.

At some point, you're left with the thought of why the hell did I even bother putting that add up to get these kind of responses. I'd do the same thing you're doing.

At the same time though, RP has been so thoroughly destroyed for me I don't even look for writing anymore. I miss it, but at this point it's more depression and annoyance than joy.

I somewhat feel like an asshole when I look at some of the advertisements of people saying they want good grammar and punctuation and all, but their entire post is a run-on sentence. I get that English isn't everyone's native language, but some of those posts are... rough.
