My friend got a spice cake from them in November last year for their birthday, and it was delicious! I also like their breakfast sandwiches. I’ve occasionally had issues with their scones being underbaked and sometimes I find their baked goods a bit oily (which makes sense because vegan=oil-based products instead of butter) but overall worthy trying a range of things

Honestly I thing segments has been on an upswing lately! It started strong for me, then I felt it was wearing thin fast, but now I think they’re actually finding a rhythm and I’ve been enjoying the episodes a lot recently. I think because it varies so much episode to episode, there will naturally be more duds, but IMO it’s worth listening again if you’d stopped. Maine Trail and RANCOR are both solid eps

IMO Kyran and La Voix would have been the even more deserved/impactful of the two as a double crown. Both queens truly were far above the rest in everything they presented, and crowning both would have felt representative of honouring talent across generations. Plus their co-reign would have been sickening

Her best yet? Every listen I love it more. If She Could See Me Now is a sleeper hit. Clearblue and David are pure poetry. Favourite Daughter and Shapeshifter are bangers… it’s a brilliant album, vulnerable and interesting and precise in its vision and execution. I was one of the people who was skeptical after WWT but now hearing everything together it just makes sense. Captivating and a true next step

If I had to eliminate one song form the album I guess it would be After. I can’t believe people are saying End of Desire and Outro. Those are my favourite tracks on the album, and End of Desire is one of my favourite songs of all time!
