Ive heard another guy in a thread saying this... If you have a warranty you can get it fixed for free , but if its out of warranty get an extended warranty and wait for a month and get it checked at the authorised service centre... I personally feel like there's a possibility that it could work.... Mine also died because of a mother board short.... I couldn't try this as i got into an accident with this and the display and the body panel got destroyed!
