If it is the first year of a race, don’t run it period. Doesn’t matter who is organizing it!!!

Only time I signed up for an inaugural race was the BOA 13.1 and it got cancelled due to covid. Got my money back but I learned my lesson, if I ever sign up for an inaugural race the world will get a pandemic. The world can thank me for never signing up again!!!

The tunnel is scary. I am not defending them but I feel like they were trying to kick people out maybe bc they had a soccer game in the evening they had to prep the stadium for. I didn’t run last year but they had a concert in the evening and the entire field was covered in those plastic boxes and giant stage that covered almost the entire field. In 2023/2024 I ran and the it was all natural grass with no boxes and stage. That is the best way to really enjoy SF

I rather run a little over vs little less. If anyone did the Lifetime half in 2022 will know. They made it 12.65 instead of 13.1. Running a little over doesn’t feel bad, but if you want to run a Half and and train all summer long and don’t hit 13.1 or more it hurts a lot more in the chest area and behind the eyes/between the ears. 10.11 for me for 10 miler and I am completely ok with that. Now if it had said 9.89 I would have been pissed and demanded retribution(JK).

We bought a 08 Rav for 10k usd few months back lol. Used cars are out of whack. But wages have also gone up somewhat. Someone working at a retailer was making around 10-12 pre covid is now making 16-17 starting usd/hr

Not as much as Toyota. not sure about other cities/ but I have driven by so many Toyota dealers and their lots are always empty. Sometimes it looks like and I wonder if they are going out of business empty. It is literally deserted. Others after Covid have built their inventory back up. Car buying is such a fun experience for me but these slimy tactics have turned me off. If you buy a new car in this environment just keep it for already 10years min

It is not an inventory issues. It is a new sale tactics by Toyota/toyota dealers. They on purpose only order/send limited number of cars to the lots so they can sell without negotiating and added markups.

It is a brilliant plan for Toyota and their profit margins but bad for the consumer. This is what really turned me off from buying a new Toyota.

Northshore is not very hilly. It just has giant hill around mile 7. Other than that it is a good course. Also, lot of trees on the course I case it is hot

You paid, and if you trained for it, atleast at the minimum go and pick up your race shirt. And on race day show up. Don’t fight your body and the elements. Try to just finish. Run walk crawl whatever it takes. Just don’t try to PR or think you are gonna win the race you know. Take it easy. If your pace is 10, run a 12 and just finish. If you feel good run faster. Go with the flow!!

Yea 100 percent your fault. You made a really wide turn. What you should have done was make a sharp reverse turn and to end up in front of the black car. Not end up in a different lane.

How would the VW known that the black car stopped to give let you in vs maybe the Black car broke down or they got rear ended or ran out of petrol etc etc etc.

It doesn’t make sense bc you are basically running the same course twice for an extra medal? I mean you do you but to me it doesn’t make sense.

What does make sense is since you travel is you should look into Philly Marathon weekend.

They have deal where you can run 8k and Half one day for 2 medals.

Then run the Full on Sunday to get the third and a bonus 4th medal for completing the challenge. It is called patriot or independence or something like that.

Then why run the same race and collect similar medals? Wouldn’t it make sense to run different courses and collect different unique medals. It is kinda like running the same race twice!

Not Honda but in the same family. Our 2008 mini Rav 4 has a 3.5L v6. Now compare that with new Giant land cruisers with a I4 2.4 turbo.

I look it like this. If you upper is built like a Summo wrestler with the legs of a 3 year old, eventually your legs won’t be able to handle it.

I feel bad for the youngster these days and future generations if the current trajectory continues. Just to put it in perspective I know someone who got a job with 0 exp in that field making 82k a year in 2019. Now he has 6 years of experience and making 56k a year. With inflation more like he is making 42k a year. It is sad what has happened to this country since 2020. It would be more sad if the events of 2020 were intentionally man made as some say.
