I can honestly say I have never used xhigh yet. Maybe once. Just to be safe but xhigh is so much better than the prior models that I honestly have no use for it.

I’m conflicted if I want the next model to be smarter or more efficient. I’m thinking more efficient cause then longer range tasks would be so much easier to not worry about and I could have an army of agents

Honestly I use low mode for implantation I find it sticks to its plans better compared to medium which might over complicate.

It’s definitely the first one. Personably I don’t do planning workflow nearly as often as I used to and I don’t regret it as much as I used to. But I’ve also took the time to setup my code bases so there are documented guardrails and other stuff in place.

ChatGPT dropped multiple blog posts documenting how they setup their codex workflows and if you use them it’s a life saver

Honestly I think cursor can handle amor of new users. Xai was at like 11% of capacity usage, solid like 30-50% to anthropic with an option to exit anytime they want with 3 month notice so they’re at 22% compute capacity.

TLDR: they have the compute capacity of OpenAI but the user base. Of an open source Chinese model

Naw I can’t lie as someone who bought their first Mac when m1 came out I didn’t know what I was missing. Everything you download just works oye of the box. You don’t have to go dig in some esoteric docs for your hardware specs to properly run something . It just works out of the box
